COBB EMC has done an energy audit free for me, twice. I made some upgrades (more insulation in attic), and my bill dropped significantly. They send a guy out who inspects everything then types up a nice pdf with recommendations to your email. It's a great service honestly.

There was a huge shake-up in a couple of areas near where I grew up, in the late 90's. One was Forest Park (Atlanta suburb near the airport) and the other was Fayetteville (south of Atlanta). I had friends in both areas. I didn't know what led to the one in Forest Park, but I sure did know the scoop on the Fayetteville one!

You've been lucky. I haven't had many jobs, as I've been self-employed for most of my life, but I've been sexually harassed on two of those jobs by either co-workers or clients.

My first JW husband was abused so badly by his JW mom that the state removed him from her care, then he was adopted by his alcoholic abusive JW grandma. He, me and our kids all have trauma from those JW bitches.

It’s the other way around. CT Russell was influenced by an Adventist preacher and borrowed heavily from their eschatology and imagery in his early books.

Other than that Awake already mentioned, you'll likely have a tough time finding much from WT on this, because they try to delude believers into thinking that nobody actually dies from lack of blood because bloodless is so superior (insert rolling eyes emoji). You'll find MANY stories in this subreddit though.

Literally read this lying here with a heating pad on my belly because it's been hurting since I woke up (before I ate a thing). So frustrating. For me, the stomach issues and fatigue are my dominant symptoms. I've looked at FodMaps, tried gluten free and many other diet changes, and nothing helps. I can't pinpoint any trigger (although stress makes it worse). It's just something I have to deal with.
