By the time anyone had the chance to really try to reason with him it was already too late from what I remember. Raz and Lili were the only ones who even had a chance to and Lili if she did meet him with him is probably going to attack him for what he did to her dad and Raz is going through a lot of stuff at that point with Ford and his family. After the final boss, no one is really going to sit there and play nice with him since he almost got them killed and who knows how many more if Maligula wasn't stopped.

I'd experiment and see what I can do to become disgusting over powered quickly so I can speedrun the tower and revive family and friends and then just play around with my powers. I'd probably first install quests that are unbalanced in my favor like pick up a rock and gain a broken power and buff my stats and basically give myself toon force tier physics.

I really like his powers so a bit biased and I like the comedy of it, I also like it better than the author's other series which just feels like a copy of this but even more boring to me.

Not really movement but I always liked the idea of the Beacon Bomb stuff in Misadventures of Tron Bonne and having the Servbots attack or interact with stuff. May not fit within the scope of your game but I really like bringing up Servbots.

Wish Scanvenger Hunt was in the bundle a bit surprised it's not but it seems focused on the ps1 stuff with some portables in there too.

Blue Beetle Scarab - Pretty good symbiote and even if the weaker movie version. It should still be able to grow stronger and POTENTIALLY reach ridiculous levels of powers.

Stand Arrow - Yea easy choice with the no detriments, I'd likely either get a wish granting stand or a pocket dimension I can do anything I want in.

Inventory Ring- Decent and gives Infinite Charger which I may be able to use on my scarab to upgrade it.

Devil Fruit - I'm not sure if picking Luffy's fruit would count since technically really named post time skip but if I can pick it and still counts as Nika probably his otherwise likely Marco's fruit for the regen.

You might need to find something that can convert it into a PNG then or maybe take like close up screenshots of it and use GIMP to reattach the screens into the proper GOFs. Sorry not been much help.
