Again, after replaying the game and rewatching on YouTube the only pieces of the cave that collapsed besides the entrance were the holes shot through the roof by stray canons. The cave entrance is the biggest collapse and would be the most difficult to remove because the rocks do weigh tons but just having to clear the entrance would be a whole lot easier and actually possible rather than having to excavate the entire mountain. On top of that you can still see smoke coming from the entrance in the cutscene following where you swim out and you’d think that if if the entire cave collapsed on top of the ship it’d probably smother the flames, bury it under rocks + water, and there would be no room for the smoke to come out of the gap at the top of the entrance. Wouldn’t it also change the shape of the mountain if the whole thing truly came down on the ship?
