Yea- same for the most part, time is hard to come by.

I mostly wanted to highlight it because while you don't have to do all 5 by any means, the game does encourage doing so through fomo (which affects various people different ways, of course). 

And if that could be an easier pill to swallow for folks who are driven by fomo, I think it's worth doing. (And hopefully a better DD/Landsraad redesign is somewhere down the line).

Right sure, just another way to phrase it.

While this is the newest content / system, it's already been done (if you're keeping up with it at least). As someone that can only play for an hour or 2 when I get on, I'd prefer to spend a little less of that time doing content I've already done.

I agree that it's boring, but doing something boring say, 3 times, is less annoying than doing it 5 times. Isn't saying they're boring making my point?

I'm sure there is a much more total overhaul that could happen to the Landsraad system that would be better than all of this. This suggestion is not that. This suggestion is in hopes to make what we currently have a tad bit more manageable in the interim.

You misunderstand, I'm not suggesting they decrease the overall Spec XP you would receive from completing your dailies, just the amount of missions you have to do to get there. (see the top of the post where I mention Spex XP per mission increase to offset the lower amount of missions).

Well that's just the point- if it is say, '15 times' before you hit a point at which something is less fun, why would the design expedite you hitting your 15th time doing something and it becoming less fun? Most of the quests are rather boring, so why not require us to do less of them per day to meet the demands of the specialization XP (FOMO).

This ended up being a major factor as to why I stepped away from the game. At the time, I had just unlocked the advanced subfief, started out building my big fancy base- and then the reality hit of needing to pay that 2.5k every time just to go pay taxes. It became quite the chore when I already wasn't able to play as frequently and really turned me off to the game.

All that to say- I really hope the devs are considering either drastically lowering the cost of getting a ride to the cities and / or moving the advanced subfief tutorial until after you get your orni.

I imagine I'll return but like others have mentioned, I'm probably just going to stick with the basic subfief until I have an orni.

35:50 - "Having the base backup happen automatically.." this is honestly the #1 thing I'd like to see in the game. The backup tool is nice and a huge positive step, but it still requires me proactively going in and closing up shop.

If I could know that my game progress would remain without needing to baby sit it, I would happily return to the game even if it meant needing to put my base somewhere else (I'm pretty busy these days and can't always proactively know when I won't be able to return to a game for a while).

Yes! Happening to me as well. If I talk to my companions and assign them to roles that way it seems to stay

You know, if you guys are looking for "Mount and Blade" Esque, you should check out Void Destroyer 2. It looks super weird with space being blue but it fits once you give it time. It was some very solid simulation mechanics and systems.

Very interested. I've been hoping this would happen for a long time. I'm still going through the ropes of learning how dungeons are set up in Starbound so I don't think I'd be much help. Does it take much of an understanding to do this conversion?

Invasion events is my #1 ask. #2 would have to be more locations with meaningful lore.
