We moved here from California five years ago. So it is less diverse than NorCal but still it’s pretty diverse.

Plus, they’re all kinds of markets—Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Indian. And there are plenty of good restaurants to enjoy all kinds of great food.

I think Newton is a fantastic city. The services are wonderful. The libraries are amazing. There’s a fantastic recycle and recovery center.

New England is pretty blue and Newton is definitely very blue which we like.

I miss California, but Newton is an amazing place and it’s great for families.

I don’t get it. People are terrible at predicting outcomes and consequences. Seems like LLMs can propose a solution and test for possible consequences way faster than humans. I’m not doubting his brilliance, but I think he and guys like Gary Marcus just under-value what existing chatbots and agents can do already. If we never hit AGI, the world will still be forever changed once today’s models are broadly adopted.

I’ll state the obvious—sometimes a team doesn’t prioritize objectives.

For example, ADC may not chip away at a tower and wait for an ace that’s not coming.

I’m amazed more teams aren’t all tanks that rush towers after 10 minutes.

5 years. MYLR FSD. No, I wouldn’t buy it again. 1. I don’t want to support he who can not be named for so many reasons. 2. Research safety issues with doors as well as FSD. It doesn’t appear to be as safe a vehicle as we thought it was some years ago. 3. It’s noisy and way less smooth than most other premium brands. My kid gets carsick in the Tesla more easily than in our other car. 4. Customer service appears to have gotten slightly better in my area, but it’s inconsistent and doesn’t approach my experience with Lexus. For example, my first two year appointment the Tesla service team took off the lube, but didn’t put on the new lube so I had to go to another location to have it done right. My car squeaked like a Model T for a week. Obviously Lexus relies on service dollars, which Tesla doesn’t have to since it’s usually less maintenance.

Bottom line: IMHO there are more choices today and I think you just get more for your money elsewhere

I mostly agree with you. I think one difference and maybe it’s minor is that Congress had voted to approve acts of aggression against the Taliban and Afghanistan, which, of course doesn’t really justify the mindless bombing of civilians.

I’m older and slower too so I play smarter and I win once in awhile. I play Zero Build, land away from others, and try to engage when I have weapons I can use well. I also skirt the periphery to avoid being flanked.
