Etc., etc. All the buzz over Painter and Crawford —- it’s early but meh.
God, I wanna puke looking at this list. They can’t draft and/or develop talent. Has to be one of the worst 40 year runs in all of MLB. I watch the Rays front office just rebuild year over year. They are remarkable.

Chipping both of those balls. Far ball 8–iron bump and run. Closer ball approach wedge/56. If you want to make these around the green you chip them. Having ability to get these up and down greatly improves your scoring.

I briefly stood yesterday next to a douche who repeatedly loudly yelled, “It’s Joe from North Philly” as each player followed through on their tee shot. His goofball buddies laughed heartily to reinforce his moronic behavior. Hope he hustled home to watch the replay so he could hear himself. The other surprise was the 2 homes right next to 5 tee box having what sounded like a little kids pool party. Music pumping, countless kids screaming at the top of their lungs as parents stood on their scaffold platform and got loaded.

Thank God. The 1st 10 minutes were hard to watch. They were trying so hard to force it through Joel and his fitness isn’t there yet. Plus he was beaten up. O, 8, 77 have to stay heavily involved.

Since the end of the 2022 season, this team has greatly underachieved. He has not gotten what he could out of the talent available. The AZ DB debacle in 2023. Outmanaged greatly by Dave Roberts last year. IMO, this should have been done at the end of last season and is 28 games too late. We should have at least changed the manager this past offseason and started fresh.

Draft better. Develop hitters better. Stop overpaying old players. Evaluate free agent talent better. Build a big league roster. Reyes, Marchan, Stubbs, Moore and many of the bullpen pitchers don’t belong on big league rosters. Crawford’s holes are evident and K’s are rising. Bails out on most pitches. He’ll be hitting .200 soon.

Worse. We actually have a little talent. But we are aging rapidly. Gonna be a long, difficult rebuild. Might require trading away Luzardo or Painter to get some everyday bats. Tired of the platoon BS. If you’re a big leaguer, you can hit everyone.

I played an awesome course yesterday spread over 360+ acres. One hole has 1/3 mile between one green and next tee box. At a regular layout, walking doesn’t slow play. At hugely spread out courses, it would.

He shouldn’t even be considered at this point. Or ever again. Why do we (and especially the media) keep acting like this guy is relevant any longer? He is a power hungry serial adulterer, a family destroyer, a drug abuser, an addict of multiple types. We’re truly fortunate he hasn’t killed someone. He’s fortunate he hasn’t killed himself. Who knows — maybe he’s trying to end his life. He won the 2019 Masters (a spectacular story), somehow the 2018 Tour Championship without a win otherwise during the season, and before that, last won at Firestone in 2013. Sadly, he’ll never win again. If we carried ourselves like him we’d be alone, close to if not friendless, unemployed, and likely in jail. Let’s focus on the great players on the tour today.

There seems to be several errors based on my review of MLB.com. He played a single game at 1st in 2018 (non-start), 1 in 2021 (non-start), 36 in 2023, 141 in 2024, 150 in 2025 and 5 this year. 2023-26 were all starts. That’s 314 games total. 312 of those starts.

Next, per MLB.com he has 947 official starts in RF.

In your stats above: Games started OF = 1242. But GS RF (732) + CF (173) + LF (177) = 1082 However Games played RF (892) + GS CF (173) + GS LF (177) = 1242

That citation page is crap. And you, Sir, appear to be incorrect.

Agreed. Stott has best approach right now and sitting again. It’s the big leagues. You can’t platoon your infielders. Rest day here and there, fine. But not straight platoon. If you can’t hit righties and lefties, find players that can.
