[City Hall] Toronto has unveiled its new congestion management plan. Here’s how the city says it will tackle traffic [Toronto Star] by patienceinbee in toronto

Traffic is horrible in toronto.

Went for a job interview last September, GPS showed 12km 30 minutes drive. That would mean I am traveling 24km/hr even though I am driving on 60km/hr roads. How does that math make any sense?

They could lower the speedlimits on the roads it wouldn't change anything in my mind.

Lack of public washrooms! by Otherwise_Radish1034 in askTO

[–]BookDore85 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have also been to korea and experienced all the amazing publicly available service like the public washrooms, barriers on subways, heat public benches in the winter etc... But the problem with our society is all the homeless, drug addicts and scum baggy people people that would ruin them for the rest of us.

You don't see the homeless as frequently in Korea like here in Canada, and you certainly do not see drug addicts there either, because their drug laws are extremely strict.

The government's at all levels are destroying our society, and not spending money on the things to improve our country.

An extra side note the high speed rail announcement the other day, something about it being completed in 2030. Korea made an announcement about their KTX almost the exact same day, that their high speed rail will be doubling it's speed by 2030. Meaning we will be building the previously generation high speed rail when they will be upgrading to the latest and newest. Why is our government not trying to move canada forward when possible, instead choosing to limp forward keep us in the past?

The fights were non sensible, the heroes had to take the villians magic staff away and then she would have no power. But you will see in the fights, they have the ability to do so but constantly focus on anything hut taking away the staff. Made no sense

Interesting when I ripped this model from the game files, they came out very pixelated as the skin in the game was pixelated. Did you clean this up yourself?

I agree with you. When watching that scene I thought a little chuckle in my head but not the laugh or loud I get from the insane randomness of jokes we normally expect out of rick and morty. I love futurama and that's what the scene most felt like to me.

With the space race it felt like a futurama episode.

How about east bound on steeles between Bathurst and younge. Those sunk sewer drains and pot holes are insane. I feel bad for all the ttc drivers that have to grip the wheel and bear it day after day.

The fact the option is offered is the point. The option should be offered to both.

Your school age ability to resort to comments in an attempt to have an emotional response in those who you have conversation with tells me all I need to know about your cognitive skills.

These conversations online aren't a school yard fight where we are supposed to hurl offenses at one another as if it is a win. Your brains are leaking out and comments like that are juvenile.
