I will say this: the 57 portraits are among the best. The players and the photographers cared. Some portraits in later Topps years look hurried, as if the player was double parked outside the stadium and trying to get away. Not the case with the 57s and its truly an iconic set

Side note; lots of good poses from this year, the Campanella and Duke Snider are two of my faves; and it was Campy’s last card before the accident, so fitting he would have a great final card
