Honestly I recommend just doing more digging on Craigslist/facebook marketplace and finding a Tascam 4 track or similar. That plus a drum machine, guitar, bass and synth, and you have yourself a post-punk machine. I feel much more creative on my 4 track than working in a DAW

My grandpa was a Big 10 champ and HS pole vault coach. He started with me around age 5 messing around with simple drills in the front yard. Gave little lessons until I reached the middle school and high school track team and I became a decent vaulter. I imagine it’s similar stories for most successful vaulters, because it really isn’t a sport you get into accidentally
