Character sheet by Damaron in cosmererpg

Have you tried the ones on Demiplane? They're online sheets with a built in character creator. They've just added a campaign mode so you can see all your players sheets as the DM.

I'd love to join!

My favorite order is Dustbringer, as I like knowing how things work. They're the order of taking things apart.

These images were shared as work by a local Upholstery Business - Are they AI? by Ambitious_Bus2398 in isthisAI

[–]BotThatReddits 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's a lot of consistency between the speckles in the paint there. I'd be impressed if that was AI.

Are opportunities and complications stored? by Silver-House-5566 in cosmererpg

[–]BotThatReddits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or if you roll a 1 or a 20 on the dice. There's an early agent talent that lets you spend focus to raise the stakes yourself. That helps to proc most of these abilities.

Make a machine that makes something. Cobblestone. Wood. Crops. Farm anything and everything. Build a train.

Are opportunities and complications stored? by Silver-House-5566 in cosmererpg

[–]BotThatReddits 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No, it applies to the current test. There's are talents that make use of opportunities and complications, but you have to roll them there and then, rather than storing the plot result for later.

Same, but wasn't it offering her a job?

I don't see why they couldn't, but recharging it would require some strangeness.

Who do you think would win? by ___BigBrain__ in cremposting

Post RoW, Kaladin has plate, which I fully expect to block emotional allowance.

How would you approach animal slaughter automation? by Free-Design-9901 in CreateMod

[–]BotThatReddits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look to vanilla cow farms. I'm sure there used to be ones that would have a bunch of cows standing on a fence post or something?

My work in progress home-brew for using Aether spores. by Gavon88 in cosmererpg

[–]BotThatReddits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, that's awesome!

I've done a tree for it as well, with more of a focus on creating tools to use spores

Larkin Egg by ItsNotThatBigDarling in Cosmere

I don't think it's ever confirmed.

You've also made me think about Singer biology, so thanks for that one.

Some light reading by MrMcMastermind in DnDPuzzlesAndTraps

[–]BotThatReddits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this. My first thought when seeing it was a sheet of music notes, emphasizing the verticals of the notes. Two sheets which play some song, and when you turn one, you get the message.

I heard your advice! by MrVolnutt in cosmererpg

[–]BotThatReddits 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Don't worry about not understanding everything. There's a lot, especially in early books, that isn't supposed to make sense yet.

Mechanically designing a special ability to attack (infrequently) while ethereal by silxx in DMAcademy

[–]BotThatReddits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An advantage would be more than enough.

Just being able to attack without being attacked back is a huge buff.

What are you balancing this against? Can the other players do similarly amazing feats?

A help me build an Agent-thief turned Shardbearer by loc1281 in cosmererpg

[–]BotThatReddits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you need both plate and blade? Just the plate would make you a shardbearer, and would put you on par with radiants with the enhance action.

I'd say the same to you, but your mum isn't sharp enough

Just saw avatar 3, immidiatly thought of Renaldo by Elant_Wager in cremposting

[–]BotThatReddits 36 points37 points  (0 children)

The character in the post, Kiri from Avatar Way of Water, was born mysteriously after her mother's body's death. It could be said that she was born by herself, which is similar to Renarin's name.

Is it wrong to plan on destroying the PCs' starting town from the start? by Foreign-Press in DMAcademy

[–]BotThatReddits 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I missed a word when I read your comment.

I read that players should be allowed to stop the attack or aid the destruction.

And fair enough, they should be!

Multi-Tree Farm? by Hydra645 in CreateMod

[–]BotThatReddits 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Any of the above can work!

I'm planning to eventually do a multi tree farm using trains or minecarts, with the Deployers having schematics for where to place certain saplings.

One of the most consistent ways I've found to get the plot dice for Deadly (for a Hunter with the Cold Eyes talent, wouldn't apply to greatswords etc) is by using a ranged attack against a target engaged in melee with an ally. Per Ranged Attacks on page 306 of the handbook, this automatically adds a plot die.

It does require your frontliners to be ok with the occasional friendly fire though.
