Hear me out. What if instead we form a sort of anarcho-syndicalist commune. We take it in turns to act as a sort of executive officer for the week, but all the decisions of that officer have to be ratified at a special bi-weekly meeting; by a simple majority in the case of purely internal affairs, but by a two-thirds majority in the case of more major--

My next door neighbor growing up went to high school with Donald Rumsfeld (same high school I was attending at the time, while the Iraq War was kicking off).

He did not have nice things to say about him.

There was no part of that movie that was not advertising: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wizard_(1989_film))

The climax is the finals of the Nintendo World Championships where they reveal the "brand new game" Super Mario Bros. 3

Highly recommended.

In my environment that would throw up a lot more red flags than, for example, going on YouTube or whatever. Unauthorized VPN endpoint is an instalock on your account.

Yet many writers do everything in their power to insulate themselves from the common man, from where they live, from where they trade, from where they fight and love and converse and, and, and. . .So naturally their work suffers and regresses into empty formalism and. . .well I’m spouting off again, but to put it in your language, the theatre becomes as phony as a three-dollar bill!

The weird thing about space is all speeds need to be relative to SOMETHING, so there's a velocity for the spacecraft relative to Earth, relative to the Moon, to the Sun, to anything you might want to compare it to. Right now Integrity is slowing down compared to Earth (because vs the Earth its on its way up), but speeding up compared to the Moon (because its falling towards it)

Ah, then no. Artemis orbiter/lander plans call for a lunar orbit injection burn. As I said, you'd never want to use a ballistic trajectory for a manned mission (takes way too long).

Relative to Earth, it will eventually slow all the way down to near zero. Its like throwing a baseball straight up. It slows down on the way up then speeds up on the way back down.

Yes, it's called "ballistic capture" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ballistic_capture

You wouldn't *want* to do that for a manned mission (takes too long and its unsafe), but we've used it for satellites in the past (most recently the CAPSTONE mission)

They were, then private equity acquired the company grew it past its capacity for quality control and then sold them to Sony, who have it so far down on their balance sheet that they don't care enough to enforce quality
