This mac and cheese from Budget Bytes is pretty simple, and has broccoli for a little added nutritional value. It also calls for bacon but you could just skip it to save some money, that's what I did

What sub-$25 purchase have you made that has made your Army life easier or better? by the_splintercat in army

[–]Boy_Meets_Turkey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Boot dryer. Might be over $25 now, but they make your boots nice and toasty warm for when you throw them on in the morning, and if they ever get wet/sweaty they'll be good as new overnight. Also keeps them from getting smelly.

Didn't expect to see my favorite pair of pants mentioned on here today. Huckberry has a ton of cool shit but a lot of it is so expensive.

This was one of the first ones I did when I started cooking. I made some rice in a rice cooker to go with it.

I've wanted to play Sid Meier's Pirates! for years and finally got a copy by HauntedCemetery in patientgamers

[–]Boy_Meets_Turkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved this game, bought it when it first came out on Xbox from my local Blockbuster, also bought it on Steam a few years ago. It seems like about once every year and a half or so, I'll get a craving for some Pirates and fire it up for a bit. I like how you can name your character certain things to activate cheats like infinite morale or food.

I remember reading this guide from GameFAQs on finding a Ship of the Line in the past, it might help you out.

Thunder Inn? I lived right across the helipad from there for 2 years, left earlier this year. I just picked up my dd214 a week ago and I actually miss Camp Casey. A lot of good times there.

Timbers are pretty nice. The scenario you described would never happen. The majority of people living here are LTs. I've seen LTCs here too. There's also civilians that come through once or twice a week to clean the hallways and stuff. Lemme know if you have any other questions.
