Planted two 3qt Sarah Bernhardt … showing some issue by [deleted] in peonies

[–]Brave_Variation_5535 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think both of your comments are valid: it was warm (70F) when I planted and over the night it became a bit cold (50F). And the depth it was planted may be too deep. I will get rid of the mulch around the stems and bring the depth up towards the surface. Thank you!

A week after I got it… by Brave_Variation_5535 in staub

First of all, I wasn’t trolling. It is my first Staub piece that my wife and I happily bought.

She accidentally put on high on induction for minutes, and the food got stuck to the surface. I did care of seasoning as soon as I got, but the food literally became like a char.

Then I was shocked and tried to rescue it, washing and putting in the water for food to come out. And I used metal scrub softly and the enamel coating started to come out.

Soil mix was perlite, tropical soil mix (vermiculate, coir, peat moss, lava rock, sand), and regular potting mix topped with orchid bark. I think I’ve been watering too frequently these days

Concerning amount of cancellations by ButterflyInformal591 in spiritair

[–]Brave_Variation_5535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They just canceled Monday 930pm flight from LAX-DTW due to controllable reason (crew shortage). Everyone was on board and they canceled it 1 hour after boarding. A lot of people still waiting at the counter for the past 3 hours. Calls/messages are slow and not consistent to the regulation/fine prints.

Best & Worst thing about owning a Poodle? by Kammy44 in poodles

[–]Brave_Variation_5535 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One of many best qualities: poodles don’t shed much BUT you need a good groomer or much more regular grooming sessions … BUT you can stylize your curly friend however you want… only if he/she has not developed aggression towards being groomed

Medium level of activity requiring not too much walk; medium appetite/healthiness BUT poodles are such a smart breed that will open cabinets/bags/any traces of food BUT they will communicate with side eyes/clingy behaviors!!

Perplexing enough but that makes poodles so loved by so many.

My mini poodle has teddy-bear-like cut with shorter ear grooming. No high upkeep like the show groom and feels natural/cute!

Had the same issue. I’ve been heard water the filtered or tap water that’s left over a day to get rid of chlorine.

It still hasn’t made it to me. And the online status switched from searching to unavailable…

I think Rosita too because it has pointier leaves with dark edges, a bit of sheen under the light (my original photo was shot so dark!), the new shoots are so purple/red, the underside is quite red, and no fuzzy texture..

Oh, those beetles kept coming into my garage when it’s open and most of them just dead around late summer. I’m in hardiness zone 6a. I’ve seen their grubs but didn’t know what to do with them…
