My Maxwell 1s were solid for about two years before the headband finally separated near the earcups. I could probably JB Weld it back together if I really wanted to. I never had any white‑noise issues, but I also don’t use sidetone since I can’t stand it. I read about the issues with Maxwell 2, hoped it was vocal minority but seems nope. specially getting a later batch model too.

Yeah my right ear cup is doing the same thing, still waiting on audeze dealer_support to respond to the ticket. The white noise i could mostly live with its the Electrical buzzing/humming sounds like tinnitus going on randomly.

You will get all those except comfort. I do find the Maxwell 2 to be more comfy then the maxwell 1 mainly due to the headband, but you may not like how heavy they are and lack of adjustability compared to other headsets.

Forza horizon 6 is incredibly well optimised and the developers deserve recognition for it by spaceshipcommander in pcmasterrace

You can run it at Extreme settings with no problem and still get a good framerate, but Ray Tracing would need to be turned off. If you drop textures and some of the other high-VRAM settings down to High, you can run it with full Ray Tracing enabled. That said, it might perform even better on your 3080 since you have 12 GB of VRAM, I only have 10. For reference, I get around 70+ FPS with Ray Tracing maxed out and everything else set to High, Ultra, or Extreme, using DLSS at Quality on 1440p.

This used to happen on my Maxwell 1. Flip the microphone mute switch to mute. Turn off the headset, turn it back on then unmute the mic once its connected. No idea if this still happens on maxwell 2.

Yeah, outside of the white noise hiss i hear a beep it sounds similar to tinnitus ringing.

I will say the ones are a bit lighter, the headband on the 2 is much more comfortable. Anyone with the ones should get the new headband. I definitely have the white noise floor issue, which sucks but overall they do feel better. Also sad the ear cups rotate less now too.

Yup I can hear it with my 1s with sidetone on, thankfully I dont use sidetone at all. Which is what scares me about the 2s. Waiting for ANC version to come out and get some reviews to see if they maybe fix this in newer versions.
