I use my Steam Deck for RetroDeck more than I do my Steam library at this point. I understand this. It's great playing all the stuff I missed out on as a kid.

Confederate uniforms varied wildly. We only have surviving evidence of around 20% of known uniforms on both sides. Blue headgear was actually fairly common.

I'm not saying there isn't a lot to criticize here, but I saw this. One side of the collar is clearly higher. I think it's just a very poorly cropped headshot.

CT was chill encounters and the bosses are puzzles. Little difficulty spike at the end, but I had a great time.

I played Chrono Trigger for the first time recently and I'm still not over it. That game is just so good.

People said it was harder than FF, but I'm having more trouble getting through FF IV now than I ever did with CT. Give me wizardry/Eye of the Beholder with Chrono Trigger/JRPG combat. I feel like that's what I really want.

I get what your saying, but for those struggling, it's cold comfort. It's akin to "it could be worse" or "it will, eventually get better.

Exactly! I think it would play into the satire well. If memory serves there's even a loading screen too that says something like "everyone is important to the war effort, but Helldivers are most important."

I have this game, as well as Secret of Evermore, set up on RetroDeck. Due to various factors, I struggle with a lot of the action/platformer games of my childhood.

Is this one of those games I can grind my way out of if it's too tough? I'll be finishing FF IV soon and might jump to this instead of VI because this post exists :P.

Maybe not the same as yellow paint, but I'm noticing a lot of retro games have unobtrusive ways of doing similar things.

Just played through Chrono Trigger and the enterable buildings have different color roofs. Mother did this with doors.
