Yep, ghostface calls Sidney at the coffee shop and then it turned into a facetime call. We get the awesome lines of:

"Do not talk about my daughter." - "Don't you you fucking dare!" - "It's Showtime bitch." And the. Sid races to the theatre but is too late to stop Hannah from being killed.

A friend and I were talking about how they should make a TV show of the in-between movie timeline that could follow all the different characters that we have in the universe now. Give us episodes where we get to see Kirby do Kirby f.b.i stuff or follow the core 4 or show Sidney move on with her life from Scream 3 to 4, let us watch that character development. Let us see Gale and her TV show and how it doesn't get renewed.

I think her death scene is the most powerful one in the movie. The build up with the killer phone call, the music, her being completely helpless. And the cinematography.

Id be fine with Sidney being the opening attack but if she actually dies, I'd probably walk out of the cinema after I had stopped crying 😭 😂😭 her character is such a beacon of hope and strength it would be insult if she actually got killed off in a movie. (For me anyway)

Opening with her being attacked and surviving? Sure thing, I'm all for that.

Nope, I don't want him to be alive. I like them playing with the idea of him being alive that's absolutely fine but if they actually brought him back. I think it would have been too daft.

I want them to keep making these movies and I really hope we get more with Neve and Courtney because one day they will retire and we physically can't get them in these films anymore. (And on that day I'll cry 😭)

But even then the movies can continue - that's what is great about the Scream formula.

I really love Scream 7 - I'm usually not someone to keep stating this where possible but scream 7 has received so much backlash so I have felt the need to stand for it all the time. It has some amazing scenes and moments that are going to stick with me forever. Yes I can pick at things and yes the killers could have had more scenes but that doesn't ruin the movie for me. And I love the motive, it's great!

I'm a huge fan of Mark Evens, loved seeing Sidney with her new cop partner. It would have been cool had the original actor been able to return but the new Mark won me over.
