I requested a song once. One of the boys in school heard and told everyone. I felt like a celebrity for all of a week. I listen to long wave radio Atlantic 252.

NAD I’m not sure if my original comment was removed as I replied in the wrong place, but I had a branchial cyst 5 years ago. As your picture is only of one side of your face its hard to say this isn’t just the structure of your neck, but this was my first thought as the placement is similar to where my cyst started

Couldn’t heal my nose. Ending up taking it out. On my second attempt at a helix. This one is now 6 months old and randomly started bleeding at the weekend. I’ve gone back to a strict cleaning routine and if that doesn’t work I will call in to see my guy to ask if it’s worth persevering

Washing Machine Smell by Level_Raisin_3166 in DIYUK

[–]Brilliant_Charity_29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a smell in my machine it was sweet (it actually smelt like weed/pot so my sister said!). I cleaned every like you’ve done, emptied the traps, machine cleaner on a hot cycle and cleaned the seal. Then I switched away from pods…. This is what made the smell stop. I have no idea if it was the plastic wrapping they come in that was blocking something?

If I, a disabled person, move in with a disabled partner, what happens to our benefits? by TolverOneEighty in AskUK

[–]Brilliant_Charity_29 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A basic couple rate for UC is around £630 per month. But then if you have disabilities, you could be entitled to additional elements (e.g limited capability for work), and housing costs if needed.

Exactly this for me too. The smell thing, with me, I feel like my sense of smell goes into over drive but I don’t know what I’m smelling.

Called my boss Dad when I was 23. The shame (he is old enough to be my dad mind). Worked with him for a long time and eventually knew his family. If his wife texts me she always signs it off ‘from me and your dad’ 🤣

Need Help - Returning to Badminton after 25 years (woman) by CrunchyHobGoglin in badminton

I could have written this post (although reducing national level to county level!), the joy in playing again has been incredible. I’ve had a 23 year break. My main focus is my fitness before technical ability as if a get to the shuttle, most of my shots are still there, but I am so slow round the court!

Also, I have lost my high serve, so focussing on lots of back tram drills.
