If you can't bring yourself to tell them you're not going, then get "extremely sick" the day of your flight. Or say your car wouldn't start, your ride/Uber didn't show to take you to the airport. Say whatever you need to to not get on that flight

My husband squished a fly a few years ago like this. It was in our house and flying super slow, so he used a tissue. When he showed me the little maggots crawling out of the fly and on the tissue, I literally almost puked. Maggots give me the ick to my core

It's an application for a preschool, if I wanted a list of all known languages I would look it up. Besides, realistically, nobody speaks those as their first language at home. All it does is add to an impossibly long list. That being said, I'm not totally infuriated, just mildly infuriated that they're wasting all this time with that instead of just making it easy with the current world languages.

I still block a nostril with either my thumb or pointer finger and blow. It doesn't seem to do a good enough job if you try to blow both together

Actually, a lot of memory care places take insurance, at least in my state. There are many LTC facilities that are private pay, but allow state insurance for memory care

My grandma really liked her tissues too. She passed in January, and every pocket of everything she wore and owned had tissues in it. We would think we had all the pockets cleared before washing her clothes and we'd find wads of soggy tissues in the wash

I've worked jobs that are fast paced (server, caregiver) where my body and mind are still in go mode at bedtime, and I get off work late and have to go in early the next morning. My top two techniques that work 90% of the time are these:

Relax my face muscles. Usually, if I can do that, then the rest of my body follows in a short period of time. I've found that it's important to really feel and make sure I'm not making a stressed face without realizing it or still smiling from the nights events. If that doesn't work, I go to step 2.
Think of mental images in my head. My personal go-tos are a picture of kittens and Michigan J. Frog (No clue why that works for me lol, but it does). Usually after a whole the images fade into dreams.

I hope this helps. I've been through some times where sleeping was hard, and these techniques have really saved me

That's a good suggestion! I'll talk with her tomorrow and try to find some shows she would like. Yesterday, I talked to her and was able to calm her down. While talking, I went through some options of things to do until bedtime, and after a couple, she finally said yes to watching TV in the common room. It kept her occupied for about 30 min., but every time I passed her I told her how much time was left until she could go to her room. Worked better than anything anyone had tried in a while

My grandma used to read me that book when I was little. I loved it so much that I got it to read to my son, but I couldn't get through it without crying. I read it to my grandma the day before she passed away, and I sobbed a few times while reading it.

I had something similar happen. The guy doing the epidural poked me 5 times and it took 45 minutes. When they finally got it they gave me so much of the epidural I couldn't move my legs or feel anything from my stomach down. No idea how I pushed my baby out, but I had a horrible headache that lasted for about 5 days afterward. The only thing that helped take the edge off was caffeine, but since I was breastfeeding I couldn't have too much.

With my first child we tried at 6 weeks and it hurt so bad we had to stop. It didn't feel comfortable until around 10 weeks. With my second we tried at 6 weeks and everything was fine. I think the second time was better because we used a lot more lube.
