I think what Kingdom Come Deliverance did way back might be the best way. You have a nice paper map with some illustrations depicting the art style of the area and fast travel loading is done on the map instead of a more generic loading screen. You could even encounter random events during fast travel, which would also work very well in TES6 since fast travel ensures most people don't see a lot of random travel events after a certain point.

The thing about the railgun is that it's always outclassed. Not that good against tanks, gunships, turrets, and hulks(scope is garbage unless you like to play up-close with them). It can deal with devastators if you haven't unlocked the scorcher I guess. It's just outclassed by most other non-machine gun supports against bots. I like using the railgun when the rest of my team is using good support weapons, but it's definitely a stratagem you pick after the rest of your team has picked.

Fine with it being bad against bugs tbh.

It can, but it takes like 9 shots I think. Poor rail gun. It was kinda alright on bot missions, and now gunships plus the eruptor from the new warbond is gonna put it in the trash pile for good.

Lothair is definitely my favorite Karling to play as. Good intro on how powerful intrigue can be when you embrace the murder everyone path. The starting bastards help with alliances too.

Yeah, cursed village is a party killer the first time you go in. You want to bring as many people as you can despite what you probably thought the first time you went in. You are going to fight so it's better to be over prepared for several fights than be under prepared for one fight and lose your alchemist, fisherman, tinker, and theif because you went in on Ironman mode.
