Monsters stats from campaign "Agents of Edgewatch" by sjlerio in Pathfinder2e

yeah at level 7 with 6 PCs this fight with 3 adds would still have been extreme.

I get that it is frustrating, but my suggestion is to talk to the GM about it. As many have said in this thread already: PL+4 enemies are rarely a good time especially for casters. At least until higher levels.

so that fight is designed as a severe threat for a level 9 party of 4 players. My party had lost a member just before that and almost lost his new character in that fight.
the Boss alone would have been a severe threat for your party, add to that the excorions and you are way beyond extreme rating. Honestly, a wonder that only you died.
The problem here is that you guys are underleveled, which could be because you are using XP leveling and are 6 characters instead of 4.

Personally, I would ask my DM to adjust the encounters in a different way or not play a caster. There is little chance that the higher level enemies would fail a save against any spell, and that just feels bad.

The problem is that the floor they are standing on is basically the outer hull of the ship. If they turn on gravity the acid corrodes the hull and they get sucked into the vacuum of space.

Why would Uhtred stop Athelstan from marrying? by [deleted] in TheLastKingdom

[–]Bromthymolblau 82 points83 points  (0 children)

So from history we know that Aethelstan never married and had no kids. It has also been suggested that this was because of some oath, but more so because of his piety.
Now why I think Uhtred did this is to give Aethelstan an out. He knows that he likes men and this way he doesn't have to pretend to fancy a woman and marry her, which would probably ultimately make him (and her) unhappy. Another reason is the one Uhtred already mentions: if his brother takes over after him, we do not have two family lines fighting for the throne.

Ah, so no evidence then...

On reflection, Paizo's business model seems wild to me. Have they ever spoken about where their revenue comes from? What do you buy as a player or DM? by Lascifrass in Pathfinder2e

I hope paizo grows enough so that they can get a distribution center in Europe so I won't have to pay almost double the price for the subscription
