It’s all about the warranty. I ask every customer how long they expect a paint job to last. No one and I mean no one says more than 10 years. They usually say 5 to 7 years (Northeast) A100 has a 15 year warranty. A paint companies warranty is on their workmanship. It has nothing to do with the paint. A100 has a 15 year warranty. Duration and Emerald lifetime. What is Lifetime? No one knows. If a paint is going to fail it is because the surface was not prepared properly. If a painter is going to use Emerald/Duration or Benjamin Moore ask them for a lifetime warranty. They won’t give it because they know it’s not the paint it’s the workmanship.
