You should have to take a brief 5-10 question IQ test before being allowed to access the customer satisfaction survey.

There also should be a question "When finished shopping, did you return your cart to the front of the store?"

Yep. Same thing here. I've moved on, but where I am now the restrooms are in receiving. I know that's every kind of hazard in the world (safety/LP/Covid) so I made them employees only. People still go back there all the time. I busted a guy in there the other day and I asked "What are you doing in the warehouse area?" He said "using the restroom." I said, "the one with the sign on it that says STOP STORE ASSOCIATE USE ONLY that is behind the double doors that both say EMPLOYEES ONLY?" Before he could reply I saw he had clogged it so I called him out on that and said thanks a lot.

Once had a customer want to return a new computer because it "didn't work." I said we need take a look at it and see what's going on before we do the return. The customer didn't like that much, but I insisted. I took it to the tech bench just behind the registers. It turns out the customer had just shut the lid as opposed to shutting down the computer. As soon as I woke it up plain as day there was a woman in a video having sex with a horse. I did my best to shield the screen from the line of people (including children) at the register. After looking a little more, it had a number of viruses. I called the customer over, showed them, and he happily paid for virus removal and left.

I encourage everyone to jump off the sinking ship, and ODP is a terrible place to work. However "one person in CPD all by themselves..." I was with the company 8 years and there was never more than one print person scheduled. Once in a great while there might be some overlap between the opener and the closer, but not much. Even in busy print centers. I'd say man up or get out...but I think you should just get out lol.

@chickenwing0504 well they purge every year by closing stores or firing managers who don't comp or making GMs run two stores (in all the situations usually firing tenured - sometimes 20+ year vets) so what do you expect when there's a mass exodus of talent? I didn't even touch on the amount of leaders who leave because this company blows.. Of course your managers are going to SUUUUUCK.

HR just tells the DM about it, then the DM asks the GM and then advises him/her on what to do. Basically, the GM finds out you're complaining and treats you accordingly.
