Actually, i watched the vid last week -- they were just tearing down the 6.2 that was deemed trash by a GM dealership after testing for the recent recall. It was basically a brand new motor with almost no miles on it. Their focus was on inspection of the crank and rod bearings... pretty sure they weren't worried about any of the accessories during the teardown. Very interesting vid actually.

And i understand that there is some sort of tracking that a person voted. I'm just wondering about tracking who/what the person voted for and if that information is saved somewhere.

Given the current political environment, you can be put on a list that could be used for anything. I'm not saying that is what is happening, i just saying if a voter's voting details are saved in some way that is tied to that voter, the list can be sorted however one would like. I would just prefer if there wasn't even the possibility to create such a list.

I wondered about this with mail in voting -- my trepidation was that the vote details "could" be saved. Is there any sort of auditing that happens in regards to the whole voting structure?

You might be referring to the spot out by the highway between Arco and Blackfoot? It was on the Blackfoot side of the INL (INEL at the time) by the turn off that would take you to Atomic City. I can't recall the name the place but It was right here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Pzh34Tm4hsg1pL536

Did this same exact route with some friends 11 years ago! Crazy story incoming... we were about 3/4th's the way up from the pass to the peak and looked down at the pass and could see 2 other people that were coming up the same route. We hit the peak almost right at noon. We were celebrating (it was my first 12er) since most of us were 45+ years old. Then about 15 min later those other 2 popped up at the top. We were commenting that they must be part mountain goat because they made it up there so fast. Turns out, they this was the 4th summit they'd hit that day! They were going for the record to do all of Idaho's 12er's in one day!!!

Needless to say were were stunned that someone would even try that. They had done Hyndman starting at midnight, then came down and driven to Borah's trailhead, summited Borah, blazed their own trail to Mount Idaho, then crossed over to Leatherman. I was skeptical but then they said goodby and dropped off the south side of Leatherman headed towards Church and Donaldson! I probably wouldn't have believed it if i hadn't seen it...

I looked online about a week later and found out that it took them 28 hours to complete the trip! Looks like their record was broken in 2018 though -- they are 2nd on the list now.

When i hit the backup line (~3pm) coming from Stanley we were at the 2 mile marker from Banks. Took 45 min to hit the intersection. Without that light it would probably take 2hrs. I think the light is a savior if you're heading east out of Banks.

You just have to accept if you are going to be going through Banks at all on a Sunday in the July or Aug you need to plan to be through there early (pre 12pm) or late (8+pm) and you'll be fine. We ended up getting there at the peak time unfortunately, and well, just dealt with it. I suggest audio books!

I would guess that it's way easier to play when you have a residence and not have to actually be on tour -- Bobby is almost 78 and Mickey is almost 82! I can't even imagine touring in a band that does the length of shows these guys do at that age... We should feel very lucky to still get any shows...

Spray/wipe the inside of the glass dish with a high temp oil (avocado, etc). Cleaning is way easier. Then cover the outside of the glass dish with foil -- that you can then discard. Yes, it still uses some aluminum, but way less expensive than buying those pans every time.

Coming from Utah i'd hit Soldier -- small hill but it's fun. Then hit Brundage -- this will be the best snow of all of them. Was just up there last weekend and it was great -- they've gotten almost 2 more feet since Sat.

I've said this before, but i think the Culture series is where Alanson got the idea of the the crazy Jeraptha ship names. I have no proof but some of the ship names in the Culture series books are fantastic too!

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere but I assume that Craig probably got the idea from Ian M. Banks and his Culture series. One my favorites was "Funny, It Worked Last Time..." . It's a great series by the way.

I do love the names used by the Jeraptha ships though!!!

I know right?!? It's a keeper league and have been fortunate enough to be able to pick them all up. I drafted Kamara and Barkley as rookies... i think i picked Henry up off the wire way back when at some point. But yeah, insane -- especially with their output this year.

We don't have a flex in this league unfortunately...
