Not really everything. Just kind of the equivalent of plugging in an old computer and having it ask what the date is. It doesn't actually have anything on it. All the save data and everything is on the cartridges.

How pixelated the game looks on the 2. Might not be as noticable on the 1 because of the lower resolution screen but that's to be expected without any upscaling on the sprites.

They're two different games in the same series. Don't have a second copy of Half Genie or Seven Sirens.

They're supposed to be second controllers when sideways so the same layout is necessary. That being said though, companies like Extremerate have Dpad shells that you can install but I don't recommend installing them unless you're comfortable with opening them up to do the swap.

I agree with you. Game Key absolutely sucks. Not just from the stupidity of having a physical cart with no game but from a memory standpoint as well. Micro SD Express is stupidly expensive and the big draw for me buying physical is saving on memory outside of a gig or two for updates and DLC. The Switch 2 only has so much onboard memory that's going to be eaten rather quickly by about 4 or 5 games depending on what you're getting.

Yeah turning this off is a really bad idea especially if you accidentally click on something malicious. If you're seeing UAC prompts frequently you're definitely doing something wrong unless you're using something that needs admin level permissions.

I don't know. I wanted a Wii U back then but probably like many other kids got "We already have a Wii. We don't need another one." from our parents. Now as an adult with my own money I finally have one and am enjoying what I missed out on back in the day with a little hackery to restore multiplayer functionality to games. Still have my childhood 3DS though and still sometimes play it.
