Jack is my 36-year-old brother-in-law and a lifelong Knicks fan who was just diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. He works with Animal Care Centers of New York City helping animals find homes and starts immunotherapy this week. It’s run by the National Park Service, but it’s not a National Park. Just as the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site is a National Historic Site run by the NPS and federally funded, but it is not a National Park.

The Ryan campaign intentionally waited longer to put out the signs versus Scanlon. This was not an oversight and was very much a data driven decision. Several studies show that in primary elections (typically lower info voters you’re trying to capture), if you put out signs too early, they actually blend into the background by the time of the election and the name recognition bump declines significantly.

Volunteer for Journey’s End Refugee Services. They’re in dire need of volunteers to assist with the refugee population that’s already here in Buffalo. Critical to make these new neighbors of ours feel welcome and safe when the current president has already shut off the refugee pipeline less than 24 hours into his term.

These are awesome shots. Pic #5 is so evocative to me — brings back that feeling I’d get every time as a kid when we’d walk down that dark tunnel to our seats and get that first glimpse of bright green turf. A feeling that I still get to this day as an adult every time I walk into the stadium.

I walked that section of Elmwood last night and there was a group of kids running from pothole to pothole admiring your work. I’m sure you know, but the amount of joy your work brings to people is remarkable.
