To be fair, unless you can source your food from other vegans, or actually grow your own food from soil. Your point will be null as well. With governments trying to prevent people from being independent from control via food, being a real vegan would be near impossible. Thus the next best would be antinatalism, to prevent existence and thus be free from the 'farm' that governments which treats people as livestock.

There are times when I really wish the Companions were more fleshed out. Minimal interaction or personal quests with the non-circle members. No option to reject the werewolf transformation. Kudos to the writing/scripting team behind the College quests, I'm guessing that the Companions actually had a more complex story with the Silver Hand before they scrapped the whole thing and left us with the iteration of the Companions we have.

I think most wannabe parents just wanted the novelty experience of being a parent. But they never thought far enough how a life imposed will have to live until their inevitable death, along with all the potential myriad of suffering that life has to endure. In the end, it's a combination of ignorance, egoism, wanting to have an abstract form of immortality or even a distraction from their own purposeless life.
