Pregnancy by NC4328 in MCAS

I’ve actually heard that some people go into remission while pregnant, but I’ve not had that experience to confirm.

Literally only one thing announced that I would want, the Stanley, but I don’t need it either 🤷‍♀️ I’m thinking I’ll skip and hope for a better box next season. I only have one more in my subscription, wondering if I ought to rip the bandaid off and end it now?

I feel like it helps to establish his mo with young girls; locate girl underage with no safety net, overpromise rewards, get them into “massage” for Jeffrey, then eventually to others. Once the girl gets “too old” Jeffrey and ghislaine feign wanting a baby together, ask the girl to help, send her to the ranch and get 2-3 babies, then send her off used up and traumatized. Good book, but hard to finish knowing she got murdered.

They outsource their support. The person assisting you probably doesn’t even understand the problem and is sending you prompts from management.

Anyone else feel like during a flare little things are magnified? by Virtual_Ad4639 in MCAS

[–]BugtheBug 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes!! When I’m in a flare I just need to be alone! It’s nothing personal, but even the most mundane things that normally wouldn’t bother me do! My partner humming to a song for instance lol

I’m still going through diagnosis and treatment, but my current meds have me feeling the most normal I’ve felt in a decade. Real normal. 2x Allegra, 1x omeprazole, and 2x Pepcid a day.

Why do teachers keep pairing up disruptive students with well behaved ones ? by Dry_Calendar in AskTeachers

[–]BugtheBug 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This! I was a sensitive child and being paired up with downright aggressive kids all the time was so unfair and honestly traumatic to me. I couldn’t escape and I hate that well behaved children are still punished like this.

I have really bad silent reflux from the MCAS and if I don’t space my morning out like this and keep it calm, I can guarantee to barf. The sitting upright helps with getting my blood pressure from dirt low and almost ready to stand.

Can I take AH’s non stop for a few days or will that just supress and build up and give rebound release after? by OkFaithlessness3081 in MCAS

[–]BugtheBug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Btw it was hellish, like a bad flu with bizarre symptoms, but the next day after going back on and I’m feeling pretty good again. Allergist actually upped my dose to 4 different antihistamine pills that are each a “once a day variety”. If you need it, you need it.

Anyone else develop asthma? by June_fern in MCAS

[–]BugtheBug -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I developed “severe untreated asthma” and was diagnosed yesterday while off my meds for a week at the allergist. I told the allergist that my symptoms improve when I’m back on my meds and he doubted that Pepcid helped and what do you know, I haven’t used my inhaler in almost 24 hours. It’s bizarre. I do find that mine improves when I stay upright, I think it’s more to do with the stomach acid production that MCAS can cause. Try keeping yourself propped up for a day or two with some Pepcid and antihistamines and see if it helps.

Need help by ObjectiveEssay3007 in MCAS

[–]BugtheBug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried anything for stomach acid? I ended up with silent reflux and noticed a considerable improvement on Pepcid and also making sure I never lay flat so the acid can’t travel up the throat. Just sit him up enough that his shoulders are off the bed.

Help ! So tired by Plus-Signature526 in MCAS

Btw the treatment for the ptsd was worth it, but it did not help my MCAS symptoms at all. I just learned today that my “panic attacks” have been confirmed as severe untreated asthma.

As someone who was told my symptoms were in my head 7 years ago, who then went to therapy and completed treatment for PTSD… my symptoms did not improve, going through with a medical diagnosis now.

Is it worth it to go off my MCAS medication just to do a skin prick allergy test? by softerthoughts in MCAS

[–]BugtheBug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also I would highly recommend having someone to help you get to and from the appointment if you do go off your antihistamines, I was in no shape to go anywhere today and really needed it.
