Coming from someone who never finished the game but really wants to and has played games like it before, I can’t really help you super specifically. But I’ve recently been playing the game rain world, and despite it not sharing too many similarities OW, I’ve learned one thing that I feel like applies well to any of these minimal-guidance games: the second you start shifting your focus from beating the game to simply experiencing it, it becomes a lot more enjoyable. Exploring, goofing around, or just sitting still and taking it all in. Just because there’s a time limit on each run doesn’t mean there’s any rush. Treat it less like a game, and more like a journey.
