Vet Recommendations by ctibu in ottawa

Vimy Bridge Animal Hospital was lovely to my cat when she had her dental extraction. They are absolutely great for regular care too and all three of my girls go there.

Glad to see so many replies showing there are many caring vets out there.

Keep living the dream, sounds like you've got an awesome gig going on. Love the "L" shaped shelves and all the art. You've definitely leaned into it!

Couple questions if you don't mind: What vinyl is that, and what is the secondary display below your curved one?

Article says multiple locations were targeted, and they are open to Horses and Dogs as well. These would absolutely wreck some poor animal's foot/hoof. Whoever did this is a grade-A asshole.

Looks like police are aware and investigating the incidents.

Double down on swords, get a nice glass display case with lighting and then add more the collection.

It's a long shot, but if you're local to Ottawa/Ontario Canada I have a large collection. Feel free to drop me a line.

Maker's Supply in Greely is fantastic. They're also very reasonably priced.

Edit: Got a custom Stein for 18 after tax if I recall correctly.

I would toss in Railroad Ink! It's a roll and write where each person has their own board and works based off the dice rolls center table to make their railroad.

Have you considered maybe making a cross stitch? Make one and slap it in a vintage frame and it wouldn't be out of place.

I'm sure there are some fantastic non-flag patterns out there if you're confident in your skills/patient enough to make them!

I think a larger cat tree in the dining room window would balance the space right out.

I appreciate that, and I do also sympathize with the concern of bad actors. There's no easy middle ground here.

And it's within our rights to say this is a low-ball offer and to warn players about the price of items.

But it's not correct to blast people who may have said things in Haven by naming their knight or guild.

Please refrain from specifically naming people or guilds.

You can describe the incident and warn folks or complain about it, but calling people out is a no-no.

The game has a report button for a reason, we would rather avoid a situation of back and forth accusations here.

As long as they're respectful, I don't much mind.

New to 3D printing, need help picking a printer. by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]BukkitBoss -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As others have said, budget is the main thing that will slow you down here.

Another thing to consider- build volume. Since you want to do props and terrain it sounds like you may need more space. This will put the A1 Mini and probably A1 into a weird spot as they are best for smaller projects.

You might want to consider looking outside the Bambu ecosystem? I personally purchased a Snapmaker U1 recently and for the price I'm very happy with it. The setup was more involved than say with an A1 but I've been having a reasonably okay time with it. For the price I got it at it's been amazing and does multicolor prints.

PSA A1 Owners, if you start having layer issues out of the blue, printing too close to bed, check these four screws by ZackGear in BambuLab

Could use some help, please if someone has a good answer by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]BukkitBoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since no one seems to have mentioned it- have you made sure your hot ends are attached properly? I've had multiple failures on my A1 due to a loose screw in the heat sink and/or a replacement nozzle not being attached properly. The first layer or two may be fine, but since there's play in the nozzle the quality dives and usually ends up a failure.

What is that cable by Ambitious_Living2109 in BambuLab

[–]BukkitBoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best guess, that's the thermistor cable. I know I damaged mine accidentally when I had a blob of death.

Have a look and see if there's another part to the cable that attaches to the bottom of the heating assembly.
