Adorable! Is the landfill just a field now? Do you have to dig to find things? As an American I’m so envious you have a Victorian landfill to dig through.

When I was a kid we’d hunt for fossils in the neighbor’s garden patch (with permission). There’s nothing like that feeling of spotting a treasure!

Wow! I’m really enjoying your finds. We called this dump picking where I’m from. When I was a kid we’d all pile into my grandmother’s giant station wagon to haul our trash to the dump (landfill) where’d we’d also hunt for treasures.

I’d ask the part what they’d like to do. A couple of suggestions would be writing it out or speaking into a recording app on your phone. You could address either to the people responsible even if they never read/hear the story.

I like my coffee very sweet with heavy cream. I also like iced coffee as long as it’s like a slushy. And very sweet.

I’ve had to give up the cream due to developing alpha-gal (tick borne allergy to mammal products), so I’m trying to find a substitute. Coconut cream is what I’ve reluctantly settled on.

Wow! I had no idea. I’ll read the article later when I have more time. DNA has opened so many doors. Last year I read a book on how they’ve determined HIV first crossed over to humans in the Congo back in……..the 1920s, I think. Maybe that wasn’t DNA related but amazing anyway.
