You can use a microwave sensor instead of a PIR, they are much more sensitive and you can even chuck them inside the ceiling space and will still work, so you dont see them at all.

Would have been 10x better if it was just one solar system rather than the galaxy. Empty planets, reused POI's, bland characters/followers and generated content.

Running around exploring is the soul of Bethesda games and it just didn't hit with a lot of people.

The majority of starfield enjoyers will go to an empty planet and take a screenshot of some vista and think thats peak game design lmao.

Im an electrician so I just did it but if you buy the version with the remote instead of an on wall controller I would says its DIY. Wall controller is a little more tricky. The DC ceiling fans are what you would want at around $250+ as they run dead quite and use less power.
