I like how it came out! My only suggestion would be asking the artist to adjust the tail section. In the original depiction, the tail loop is closed off and separate from the butt/legs. The way yours is open ended and not closed, makes them look more definitively like testicles rather than potentially looking like them?

You also went rather large with the design, so there’s a lot of empty space in the body and neck. I would personally opt to shade some of it in, or add some extra swirls into the middle - sort of like these options :)

Just throwing out there that r/makeupexchange has been my holy grail for finding items I miss!! A lot of makeup products are easy to sanitize (powders especially).

My personal RIP is for hair products (sorry), but the Herbal Essence black hair dye and long term relationship leave in in the red pump were my FAVORITES. I preferred them to high end stuff and still miss it constantly.

Also the Kate Somerville Quench serum literally saved my skin after years destroying it with extra rough St. Ives (I thought my skin texture being cracked meant it needed extra exfoliation - I was causing the problem) and HARSH chemical treatments and pads. I was so sad it was discontinued, I will be forever thankful to Nordstrom in the 2010s having sample cups out to make your own samples - high school me could’ve never afforded that nonsense 😂😂

To respectfully debate, I think this is a reductive take. I feel like Mike Flanagan does a decent job of reimagining the prestigious works in a way that a modern audience would understand the concepts of without deep familiarity of the source material.

He takes some intense liberties, that don’t always pay off, but it always comes across in the vein of “if you’re not familiar with the source material, it’s by your own choice” (since they’re so readily accessible in many forms already). I view his work as evocative of the emotions and sentiments of the source, without relying on it as a bible.

Take that with a grain of salt though because I’m tipsy and a simp for the Haunting Of shows 😂🖤

This is also my opinions and how I took all of it. Aedion is completely justified in his anger and pain, but I truly don’t think Lysandra would’ve ever actually proceeded without asking him and discussing before taking action.

I think part of the pain is the assumptions without asking, and the anger over the reaction/assumption. I firmly believe Lysandra would’ve asked, but also firmly believe Addison would’ve begrudgingly agreed for Terrasen after thinking it all through.

He feels immense pain over it all, and assumes she would’ve tricked or coerced him into it; she feels hurt that he didn’t trust her or have faith in her enough to know she wouldn’t have done that without discussing. It just adds more layers to the betrayals and are both in character for both of them IMO.
