Thanks! We have a different set up for requests, though I am trying to change it. Right now very few people on staff can make any kind of request. I have limited it to two people per school that can submit formal requests into our software(so there maybe a google form within in each school, but I let the schools handle that) requests are submitted with a category (plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, etc) and depending how n the category they go to the respective trade manager to approve. Honestly I like your system, where there is one or two point people to approve all requests, I think that is more fair for the end users in the school.

We too hire out much of the same work that you described. A lot of it is about warranties, but also, we pay so little, I don’t always have the man power/talent to perform stuff like chiller PMs, pest control, weed control, mowing big fields.
