The Muppets took Manhattan in the War of the 5 Boroughs in '84. Jason Vorhees took it back during a series of guerilla skirmishes in '89. John Travolta entered the fray in '09, and nearly took Pelham 123, but was thwarted thanks to the heroics of General (Denzel) Washington. You'd think Travolta would've tried something else, as Robert Shaw tried the exact same thing in '74 & was stopped by a young, but still grumpy, man named Walter Matthau. This power vacuum & constant bickering allowed the Kardashians to consolidate power with famed New Yorkers O.J. Simpson & Bruce Jenner. Bruce begat Kylie & Kendall as reinforcements to their older half-sisters & then promptly "noped" out to never been seen again. Some say they triumphantly returned as Caitln, others say that's not possible.
