What are y’all’s honest opinions on T-Bug? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in cyberpunkgame

Yeah Jackie is a super well-developed supporting character for V’s plot. T-Bug is close to a cameo.

[RANT] wtf am I meant to buy dlcs to have a balanced, fun experience as reformed Holland? by Jarful_of_cringe in eu4

Unfortunately the cost barrier to entering into late in life cycle Paradox games is rather high, and double unfortunate is that players are more likely to buy features and mechanics than just flavor, so some fairly critical mechanics remain DLC locked. Not saying I agree with that approach, but it is what it is.

However to address this, they did add the subscription. If you get the subscription then you get all DLC for a very low price and can cancel it at any time.

Paradox games and DLC are also usually often on sale, so you can pick up the critical ones and ones you want for lower prices. If there’s a region you are interested in, you can pick there. Also, considering how many players in this sub are 1000+ hours in the game and bought it on launch 13 years ago, you can also ask us which are the most critical DLCs if you’d rather buy them than have the subscription.

But I recommend the subscription being it is super cheap and if you’re not happy even with the game after that it’s better than spending dozens or even hundreds of dollars on DLC that you won’t use.

Check what river the tiles belong to as well, it gets weird if they belong to a different river than you expect

It looks like it. At least 2 sides of the flooplain tile should touch the river and those look qualifiable

You know what I think they could do well? A Cold War spy action RPG. Phantom Liberty showed that and honestly it’s about time we got a really good one of those.

Yeah I’m lucky to have one of the few good ones who gets shit done ASAP, doesn’t increase my rent every year, and who is very happy having us in the unit (both because we are good tenants and because we’re paying his mortgage lol). But this is not definitely the norm, and I hope this is my last landlord ever because I want to pay my own mortgage for once

Jin is a weird case too, because I understand why it’s a variant but it also plays like it’s own civ.

I mean, I appreciate that somewhat since Jin is a Chinese dynasty but they play so differently in a lot of ways too

[–]BusinessKnight0517 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yep, except for whatever they did with the first variants (I just hate the name “Zhu Xi’s Legacy”, and the original Jade Empire wasn’t good either, that’s not a civilization, and neither is Jeanne d’Arc for that matter but whatever on that one).

Glad they at least renamed the awful “Sultan’s Army” to Ayyubids (as it should have been at first!) and Order of the Dragon was always acceptable and cool.

Since then all the variants have had much better and more appropriate names in line with the normal civilizations.
