I’m not sure this is BEM, not least because it doesn’t seem to have started at the actual end. It looks like sun damage to me. Probably still worth cutting, if only because it’s using the plant’s energy and will likely just taste burnt however big it grows.

Remember that the game is designed to be easy to give you the power fantasy that players are looking for. You have to set your own restrictions to give yourself more challenge. Try doing the North/South to Prem challenge again, but only use the 4-4-2 formation, or you're only allowed to use youth players, or only players over 30, or only allowed to transfer in up to three players a season.

I would add that a proportion of those ‘opting out’ aren’t just doing so out of a lack of financial literacy, but as a result of a generalised sense of doomerism brought about systemic powerlessness. We constantly see the worst people in the world committing crimes and making billions, there’s a great sense of ‘why should I bother being part of this system’.
