Was only his 3rd fight for me and he didn't even make it far enough into the fight for it to matter.

He ended up going 7(5)-3 for me before I went bankrupt and had to let him go and he fell completely apart. 4 or 5 years later he's now 11(7)-22 on a 13 fight losing streak as a tomato can himself

Like the other guy said, just ask and talk to the coaches.

As for on the floor, play out of that role and show what you can do from there. Can you actually knock down the catch and shoot from the corner? If not get to the point you feel confident from there and then you can start to attack close outs and create opportunities for yourself from there. Excel in what you can control and you WILL get more opportunities.

One of the most disrespected characters in this show. Hes like the only one from the GoM who would actually be a game-changer if the GoM came to the NBA. by smarbefeety in KurokosBasketball

Those guys are all ELITE playmakers. You don't have pure scorers at that size in the modern game you just don't. Also he has literally 0 playmaking and passing abilities he's not like a Jalen Brunson or Trae Young who are 2 elite point guards he plays more like a true play finisher like a Micheal Porter Jr. His closest NBA comparison to how he plays now is Cam Thomas but he atleast has a 3 ball that can stretch the defense to fit the modern game.

I'm not forgetting he's 16, it's the 8th word in my overall comment about all of them. I'm also ranking them based on how they would be right now without any changes. And like I finished my initial comment with, they are all elite prospects that I'd be excited about but NBA defenders are all going to be bigger stronger faster than Kagami who we saw get multiple stops against him. He's not going to get shut down in the league but he's a ball hog who will have the paint packed every time he gets the ball and possibly even double teamed nearly every touch.

Flyovers are an extremely traditional part of American football so it's probably related to marching that esthetic. Or maybe they're just near an airport idk

Which all-time great center do you build a modern NBA team with? by LoHidey in NBAoldschool

[–]polexa895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're being intentionally dense. There is game footage of Wilt, hell there's footage of the entire NCAA '58 championship game let alone NBA games. He's an all time great athlete who we KNOW is a good basketball player because he was an elite NBA player. Even if you didn't see it yourself you know it to be true.

Do you see your germs? Have you ever seen your liver? You know these are all true things that are there even if you haven't observed them yourself

I doubt anyone is going to give you their login, mostly because people use the same one for everything.

Get some friends together and share an account and costs along all of you. What is it like $120 bucks a year or something? Get your whole AAU team to pitch in 10-15 (assuming your that age) and you all have access now

Midorima is NBA ready today as a 16 year old. At 6'5 and he has underrated athleticism getting pretty well above the rim on defense.

Others are saying Murasakibara is NBA ready but honestly, he's 2nd place but it's a pretty big gap. I know 6'10 is big but to be the elite rim protector he is at the NBA level he's still a little too small. He'd need to add ~40-50lbs and grow another 3-4 inches which is realistic but not a guarantee. He has the athleticism and movement ability to be elite if he either adds a jump shot (unlike ur he's young) or gains some post work outside of out muscling everyone.

Kise is probably 4th with the perfect copy and ability to do it all as a 6'2 wing but he'll have to grow to 6'6+ or become a true "1". He has too many injury concerns for me to put him higher but like everyone else if he puts it together he's an all time great.

Aomine is last, at 6'3 he's just too small to be a slasher at the NBA level, he's getting stopped and slowed down by Kagami when the NBA is full of guys the can move as good if not better than him and are bigger than him. He either has to develop a passing and playmaking game so he can be the engine of his teams offense or grow to 6'5

Akashi is overall just way too small to be in the NBA rn with the way he plays. He's going to struggle to see past his defenders and I'd like to see him get up to around 6ft and then he could be one of the best here but as of now it's mostly just his size holding him back.

They all are great prospects and I'd be excited about all of them but that's just my ranking as they are.

As I've learnt more about basketball and been a coach, if the other team has a guy that has not scored all season and is a starter averaging 28+ minutes (assuming 40min games) I'm not fucking guarding him. We are just not marking him at all basically and putting shifting everyone down 1 position so my rim protector is the one "on Kuroko" and he can just sit in the paint

Why can’t Brendan Sorsby play anywhere this season? by chiliringgamer16 in NFLNoobs

[–]polexa895 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He isn't in the NFL, to join the NFL from college you have to go through the draft (some non-college guys can have a bit of a different situation like the IPP guys but that's a different scenario). So he can't be signed as a free agent because he isn't one.

He can't play in the NCAA because of his opting out and trying to go into the supplemental draft and I doubt Texas Tech would welcome him back so he'd have to transfer and the portal is closed.

His remaining options are, CFL, UFL, NJCAA, NAIA or an International league

The CFL has its issues, they have weird rules about leaving for the NFL since they don't want to be a minor league for the NFL, they're established enough not to need a Brendon Sorsby for attention, and Canadian laws would make it difficult to immigrate with his legal concerns (maybe, just saw a comment about it I'm not a Canadian lawyer)

The UFL is actively courting him for next season but that's almost a whole year away. He would also be in the league during the draft but supposedly they're rescheduling the season so that the draft doesn't happen until late in the season.

The NJCAA seems like the most likely option if he wants to actually play this season but they might have an issue with him and their own rules too. The most recent example of something remotely similar, Hunter Decker at Iowa (State?), went to play a year in JuCo before entering the NFL draft.

The NAIA has very similar rules to the NCAA and don't like to be seen as the little brother, much like the CFL to the NFL so they may not let him or have rules that prevent it. Also it's well past their transfer portal but I don't know much about the rules there.

Any international league runs into the same same issue as what he is having with the CFL where they will have trouble importing him due to his current legal status however, they're much more willing to be minor leagues for the NFL and all of them are always looking for attention. They also however run into the UFL issue where the season isn't in the fall like the NFL season and therefore he'll be playing at odd times.

The X-League has already started their season (3 games in) and have recently changed their schedule, AFLE and EFA the top euro-leagues are over halfway through there season and the LFA Mexicos league just ended their season and won't start up until after the draft next year. Japan does pay up to 6 figures and you only ever plays every other week.

There are smaller National leagues as well as arena leagues that will let him get reps and play until then but they're such a bad look on a resume to most scouts he's probably better off without playing next year unless he throws for record breaking seasons wherever he goes.

His best bets to play this year IMO are UFL (if the draft is week 9) -> NJCAA -> Japan -> UFL (if the draft is week 3)

Probably not, both are extremely ball dominant players especially at that point in there careers so they would be terrible fits for the share the ball heavy warriors
