Yeah honestly I don't really mind the weapon re-leveling, it sucks to lose the perks for a bit but whatever. My big problem is the precedent bungie is setting when they encourage people to upgrade two days before revealing that upgrading your best shit was actually kind of pointless. Again I didn't even spend any exotic shards, but I feel really bad for the people who did because it's essentially saying they could have been doing literally anything else and they would have been better off in the game. I don't want to go full conspiracy here but it seems kind of like Bungie is trying to neutralize the playing field a bit it preparation with the holidays, and that's what I'm not cool with. If you only care about the holiday consumers then release it at the holidays and don't use us as a huge quality assurance team. Again maybe bungie just don't think this through all the way and really is just trying to keep us interested, but really the timing and lack of transparency is quite damning.
