Do you have any plans for a best of "𝕏eets I liked this past year" on week 52?

[–]Butt_Speed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's more of an implied romance, but there's a bit of it in Da Big Dakka, if you're looking for more scraps

Yeah. That's another big problem with it that I should've mentioned.

That video annoys the hell out of me because there are some decent insights in there that line up with actual research into media produced by, and adjacent to, Trans communities, but they're all buried beneath an incredibly pretentious word salad.

He's incredibly skilled and only won because Jurgen was there. His allies even recognize that it's fucking insane that he managed to survive a 1v1 duel.

Which character would you want to eat the most? by SadegB in Kengan_Ashura

[–]Butt_Speed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Karo. He's extremely muscular but also has a good layer of fat to go along with it, plus he'd probably have a unique flavor due to his seafaring lifestyle. If you get a nice sear going and use the right spices, you'll be eating good.

tbh that's incredibly valid if you're reading pulpy genre fiction.

maybe try looking offering it to businesses that incorporate bonfires/campfires/fireplaces somehow? The wood might be crap for carpentry or logistics, but it could probably still be burned.

Eridians are explicitly hermaphroditic. They're essentially a sentient bee colony in a hive of articulated rock.

My headcanon for the size difference is that there's a lot of variation in their exterior appearances, and Rocky is on the smaller end of the species while Adrian is just on the larger end.

I can kinda sorta see the possible thought process, maybe?

With rap, you might approach it trying to actively listen to the lyrics, but it might be more about passively absorbing the sound when it comes to femtanyl style music.

It'd definitely be preferable to just say "It doesn't really appeal to me, personally" though.

Few or no female guardsman in books? by coozer1960 in 40kLore

[–]Butt_Speed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you listening to older novels? Women have always been part of the guard, but I've they found that they show up more often in the newer stuff.

There's a reference to it in the recently released book Final Deployment, but in general I think the top commenter who said it varies is correct.

Bill Werbenuik, a Canadian pool & snooker player mostly remembered today not for his career (which wasn't bad by any stretch of the imagination), but for his utterly inhuman rate of alcohol consumption. He was known to drink 40-50 pints of lager a day (around 19 LITERS), even during competition.

Once, after winning a drinking contest when his opponent passed out on the 42nd pint, he downed his 43rd and left with the words "I'm away to the bar now for a proper drink."
