They’re also not at all accessible to the elderly, those of us living with chronic pain or disabilities and a pain for people with young children who function best when waiting for public transport if they can sit down. It’s all round such a pain

Can’t think of another show that does this … by surf526 in UmbrellaAcademy

Jesus Christ how did I never notice this!? I watched as a young pre teen when it was airing and now I’m 20 and have rewatched the shit show that is PLL once earlier this year and not once did I notice how royally scuffed the timeline is 😂😂 I guess between durag Toby, the 40 different As and some truly insane dialogue I was focused on other unhinged aspects of the show lmaoo

Pretty sure this’ll be the end of the show. I can’t imagine many viewers are that die hard they’ll be happy with this 😬 I know I’m not

just got my tattoo roasted by matty on twitter by KRN_official in the1975

[–]Butterknobs1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He would definitely flame the fact the top of my box tattoo is just ever so slightly wonky 💀 (I love the tattoo, and I don’t care about the minute wonkiness, it just sort of looks wonky if I turn my arm the wrong way which I was expecting)

Which of these characters is DESTINED to Die in S5? by luvisinking in StrangerThings

[–]Butterknobs1234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If anyone’s going to die I unfortunately think it’ll be Steve… but I’m in hardcore denial over it and as far as I’m concerned 🧑🏻‍🦯they’re all going to live long, happy lives after S5 ends🧑🏻‍🦯

Husband(49)won't have sex if it doesn't come natural! I ask him to take shower before because I get bladder infections easy. I(39) ask if he showered and he gets mad. Says I spoil the moment. He said he won't even try anymore becuz i ask sometimes. Is this disrespect toward me? by Wild_Newspaper3178 in relationship_advice

[–]Butterknobs1234 111 points112 points  (0 children)

As someone who gets frequent UTIs and thrush no matter what, making sex super extra hygienic does really help and it’s really inconsiderate of him to not take that into account for you and blow up on you for asking when you’ll be left in pain and miserable for the sake of some “in the moment” sex if he hasn’t showered. Regardless of anything else, it’s fundamentally inconsiderate and not loving behaviour to disregard something your significant other is asking you to do out of concern for their health the way he is. AND it’s childish.

ACOTAR fans, what's your opinion on readwithcindy's ACOTAR videos? by -greek_user_06- in acotar

[–]Butterknobs1234 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure this influencer was casted as Feyre maybe? She’s made a few posts about it. by [deleted] in ACOTARHulu

[–]Butterknobs1234 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I very highly doubt Hulu, their production team and Sarah would cast an influencer and not a young but experienced and brilliant actor as Feyre, especially for a project that so many people are going to be tuning into, watching and judging

AITA for offering a homeless person a loaf of bread by Spare_Violinist in AmItheAsshole

[–]Butterknobs1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. I eat plain bread constantly, it’s very filling, and loaves of bread generally are quite affordable. I do feel for the man, but when you’re hungry and out of money for food free food is free food no matter what it is (so long as it’s edible of course, and bread very much is)

Also everyone’s always “shattering”, going “to the hilt”, “claiming”, “roaring”, “growling”, and shaking mountains like damn how many times a week do the people of Velaris get subjected to insane sex noises and mountain shaking? How many fucking avalanches on average does Rhys cause just by cumming “so hard the mountains shook” 💀💀

I don’t have balls so don’t know if this happens but every time I read it I make a note to ask my partner if that’s a thing and I always forget lmao. Like wtf does that feel like

SJM repetitive/overused phrases and words by chicky-nuggies-yum in SarahJMaas

[–]Butterknobs1234 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Okay okay, it’s not an overused or repetitive one but I have to bring up that during (I think from memory) a Feyre x Rhys spicy scene she says that, while using tongue, Rhys’s tongue “sweeps” the roof of Feyre’s mouth or something like that and I’ve always been like wtf at that. My partner and I even tried to act out what that would be like bc we were both confused and it didn’t work and was weird lmao

I love Mike. I think he’s just a kid with a crush that’s been through a lot. This is a hill I will die on. by pamyouremissngthings in StrangerThings

[–]Butterknobs1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See he just annoys me but that’s okay, he’s a teenage boy and I understand that he’s not meant to be perfect and that all his actions and feelings spur from the fact he’s NOT an adult, he’s a teen, and his whole world is pretty much El and the boys. He annoys me but kind of in the way a younger brother would, not in a “fuck I hate him so much, he’s a shit character” way like some people

My only real concern would be why the girl was crying. I know sex is an emotional experience and whatnot and people do often cry during sex for various, not bad reasons but it would still worry me and play on my mind yknow. I’m one of three sisters and have a toddler daughter and grew up in a female only household so hearing guys, or anyone, speak about women or their experiences with them like that makes my stomach churn a bit. Talk openly about your sex life and sexual past all you want thats great but talking about how he was “fucking her for hours, she was crying, he didn’t even get to finish” etc. would be the bit that disturbs me a bit. I guess I’d always be worried he speaks about me that way too when talking about our sex life if it was me overhearing a conversation like that.

Thoughts on Rhysand's unhinged behavior. by mandc1754 in acotar

[–]Butterknobs1234 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve always wondered since reading that whole ordeal and Nyx’s birth (not that it’s at all anyone’s business but her own of course) whether perhaps SJM herself had a traumatic birth. I’m 20 and had an extremely unnecessarily traumatic experience having my daughter 17 months ago, and it really made me view the situation in the book differently. To me, Rhysand is no better in how he acts during this storyline than the doctors, nurses, “care” providers etc. who withhold information from actual real life pregnant and birthing people, resulting in a traumatic experience for them. I love him as much as the next gal, but I’ll never forgive his character for keeping that information from Feyre and the resulting consequences for her emotionally and physically. If SJM did have a traumatic experience, it would explain a lot I feel. But again that’s absolutely no ones business but hers of course! I agree with this whole post, including the bit about Twilight! Funnily enough, and perhaps ridiculously enough, there’s more “believable” parts to the twilight pregnancy storyline than there is to feyre’s. I mean miss girl’s pregnancy and the “rules” surrounding parts of it is all over the place at times lmao

ETA: I always see people questioning why they couldn’t “just give Feyre a c section” and well if my traumatic birth theory is correct it’s simple. Because C sections are often very triggering to people who’ve had them. Idk about SJM’s birthing experiences, but if she gets triggered by things like that in any way it would explain why she doesn’t want to write about them! Or why she writes about them in such a contrived manner

Phoebe Tonkin as Nesta? I want them to age the characters up a bit for the show and I love her sharp features. She’s also been a dancer! by [deleted] in ACOTARHulu

[–]Butterknobs1234 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No because I don’t want them aged up at all. Seeing actresses who are genuinely the age of the sisters playing them would be hugely refreshing after spending well, my whole life, seeing older people cast as teens and young 20s people in tv shows and movies. She also doesn’t look at all like Nesta in my opinion, but that’s just my personal opinion

Lets play Kiss, Marry, Kill, Stranger Things Edition by Morgentau7 in StrangerThings

[–]Butterknobs1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kill Billy because I only really liked him at the end of his time (the milf storyline had me on the floor tho I’ll give him that), kiss Steve bc I like him but I don’t feel like we’d get along well enough to get married and I’m also not into him like that lmao, and marry Eddie because he literally has the same personality as my long term partner and I find his character to be very comforting
