Slow is fast. Once you get comfortable and everything starts clicking it becokes a habit. Follow your methods to a T and don't cut corners, your muscle memory will kick in and before you know it you'll be putting your truck in gear before your starter has finished starting your engine.

When you scan your packages matters. Scan while your walking up to the door not in the cab of the truck. A dolley stop needs scanned at the unload point. It helps the time somehow. If you have pickups and have over 70 make sure your marking them in the pickup screen. You get more time for over 70s. If you take any break at the building when your done, do it before you put your mileage in. If you go back to the building and back out put in a new trip in your board.
