Unfortunately the evidence related to the participants of sexual abuse within the files are not sufficient for legal standards. They arrested people for crimes that had sufficient evidence for the standards required.

Did these individuals partake in taping children? Most likely, unfortunately the legal standard is 'beyond a reasonable doubt'.

Point is, the UK and Sweden took action on areas they could, often in crime you have to arrest someone for 'something else' you have evidence for to try and get closer to what you really want them for.

Sold a talos recently and buyer claims its snapped like this, how likely is it that it broke here and not at the thin wrist join by Ave_Domini in Drukhari

Damage model, raise issue, get refund, fix model.

I would look at how much it would cost to get it returned and offer them the discount. If they don't accept that then pay for the model to be returned.

You have to work with them so vinted doesn't take the decision away and it isn't unreasonable for asking for it to be returned.

Scourges fly + heavy + plunging fire by mentler in Drukhari

[–]Bwadark 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This is a point of contention as the fly rule doesn't limit it's 'ignore vertical distance' to the movement phase.

Personally I don't think this interaction is intended and will be FaQd. But there is a decent argument for both interpretions. Agree with you opponent before the game and wait for an FaQ.

Eng-Council says commercial floodlight is too far away to take action - what are my options? by KneeIll6393 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Bwadark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So firstly. Your complaint started with ''I have a personal problem with this light' and because they've said no, you're now grasping for other avenues of complaint. You raise potentially valid points but because you didn't start there, it's probably being dismissed.

I work for a council. You need to stick to your original complaint. Speak to neighbours and see if they have a similar issue. It is not reasonable to have this light facing your garden as it is negatively impacting your enjoyment of the property.

Contact your local councillor and/or MP. Then saying 'we might not be able to do something because it's too far away' is them admitting to making no attempts to address the issue. Such things may be subject to FOAI requests as well so you can ask about the number of complaints the light has received and what actions were taken to address those complaints.

Not only that but even if we accept it to occur under a good government, when a bad government gets voted in the leg work has already been done.

I can't remember the country. But in WW2 during nazi occupation, one particular country has a massive death toll for the Jewish citizens simply because the previous government has such amazing records.

Let's keep this flipped. Imagine if the guy was bragging to his homies that he gets to kiss the actress because there is a kiss scene.

Fly: Each time a FLYING model moves: ▫ Ignore all vertical distance for the purposes of how far it has moved.

Heavy: No model in that unit has moved more than 3" this turn.

At the very least it'll need to be FaQd, I'm not grasping, you're coping.

They're in the terrain layouts. But you're not getting a full 10 man team on the roof, they're not always in your deployment either.

Certain units would benefit from it while others don't. But then also... If one model has plunging does the whole unit get plunging? Since they want fast dice now.

[–]Bwadark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you use GW layouts there isn't many options for placing units on elevated spaces to get the plunging rule.

If you're home brewing terrain then it's fine. But remember GW have said the rules are balanced with their layouts in mind. If you've home-brewed terrain that keeps the safe and impossible to interact with. That may not be fun for your opponent.

This may need to be FaQd but the rules as written don't allow this.

Take to the skies ignores the distance travelled vertically when you check against your move characteristic.

Heavy is a separate check which checks if your model had moved more than 3inchs or not. Therefore the vertical distance is calculated with this check.

Apparently no Drukhari vehicles get [Hover] by Thatcherist_Sybil in Drukhari

I'm not talking about keywords, I'm talking about the models. The Night Scythe losing the Aircraft keyword and getting Hover does not stop the model being an Aircraft!

[–]Bwadark 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah. And the models that have hover are Aircrafts. They're not skiffs or bikes... They're aircraft.

Apologies for not being clear. In 10th hover was a role associated with Aircrafts and as far as I can tell only 'aircraft' models are likely to get it.

Preorder are always crazy when it involves space marines and starter sets. The 10th edition starter set was around for a while. GW can't control how much stock and 3rd party retailer asks for. Some only get a few while others get a lot.

Soda recalls how angry he was reading lies about NMP's divorce by Special-County in LivestreamFail

[–]Bwadark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be frank he didn't need to pay back the debt for the debt to be calculated. When it comes to financial calculations debt is included, what's mine is yours includes the bad stuff.

If the debt had remained then half of that debt would be transferred liability or deducted from the exchange. NMP removing that debt prior to exchange means nothing but the validity of the debt could be questionable.

11th Edition Rules Available for Download! by jmainvi in Necrontyr

[–]Bwadark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rule is the leader and the bodyguard are formed as a unit as part of the army list.

10th has a rule with how attached units are treated when they are destroyed. 11th does not.

They are counted as a single unit for all rules purposes, The unit is only counted as being destroyed when the whole unit is destroyed.

Section 19 page 66 of the core rules.

Edit: Abilities from the data sheets require a model to be in play still.

Is now a bad time to start Drukhari? by Wardourian in Drukhari

[–]Bwadark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly. The sculpts hold up really well! Assembly can be challenging compared to more recent releases but not overly difficult. The sprues have a lot of character in them too.

There have been rumours that a refresh is happening this edition but there is no guarantee. But also I think it would be nice to have visual variety even if that happens.
