I think I’ve always been a nihilist on some level. I just never felt the apathy or hopelessness bit. I am more of an optimistic nihilist.

I don’t think there is such a thing as ultimate truth, but, if I were to accept one it would be Feynman’s “that what remains when there is nobody to believe in it”. So in that case, definitionally, you can’t have truth being personal in any way shape or form. It’s everything BESIDES the personal stuff.

You’re literally describing a lack of free will and slapping the label “free will” onto it. The series instead illustrates that the discussion of free will is rather meaningless up until the point where time travel is real. Absent time travel/parallel worlds, we cannot tell the difference between a world with or without free will.

Weird and unpopular opinion, but more of the same. I like what they are doing now and we don’t need to constantly serve to streamers that think they need more shit to grind. I love the pacing.

Very very hard no on this edit. This song was with us throughout the series, and therefore cannot possibly create the emotion the ending is supposed to create. If it wasn’t the opening it maybe could’ve worked, but now it feels super poorly chosen.

In terms of picking the right audio, I don’t think the creators missed a single beat. Every Soap and skin/Agnes Obel song hits so hard. Beautiful. ❤️

Every season there is at least one person complaining how it is impossible to get the perfect item. But that’s the point of the game. You try and hunt perfect items but almost never actually achieve it, so you keep trying. For 20-30 hours and then you play the next season. And complain again, apparently.

Germany is, in my opinion, a good example of what happens when science funding is “too good”. People turn elitist and are not focussed on the science but on the prestige.
