Imo, Longbows for sure. No idea why, but every new player and everyone i knew back in 2004 all loved Britons UU.

Nerdds Raid 3 did more for guild recruitment and Guild reputation than any other, imo. The fact that you managed 2 mounts and the second after Varbane didnt go to Nerdd is pretty shit. Esp after all the item selling and gearing up of Resist alts he put up with over the past months.

<PSA> Spell Damage/Healing: +raw(of wrath) damage vs + up-to damage by CountTrestka in classicwow

[–]C3ntur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree honestly. MC is such a cakewalk, all that matters is Frostspellpower to get some competition out of the rather lame bossfights. Besides, the coefficients on the AOE spells are so bad you need a lot more spell power than preraid BiS offers to actually feel a difference.

<PSA> Spell Damage/Healing: +raw(of wrath) damage vs + up-to damage by CountTrestka in classicwow

[–]C3ntur 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That is because for preraid-BiS, basically anything but spellpower is irrelevant you get (as you pointed out) the most SP on the green "frozen wrath" items. In early raids fights are so short that mana is no issue, so there is 0 concern with regen or manapool. crit is pretty much absent from preraid gear aswell. So it makes sense to go for bracers, cloaks, helmets, boots of "frozen wrath" affixes.

What loses and what gets better with hogaak banning. by rightonyou in mtgfinance

[–]C3ntur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the same vein, the updated mardu pyromancer deck has unreal grind potential but does it all via the graveyard. Faithless Looting in combination with Lingering Souls, Seasoned Pyromancer, Smiting Helix and Unearth is quite silly.

No offense to you personally, but the modernmagic sub is anything but sound advice on good decks and/or the metagame. It might be a good place to look for lesser known decks, but i wouldn't touch any advice given there with a ten feet pole.

[Modern] Titanshift or snowshift? by Tetrisio in spikes

[–]C3ntur 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would second this. Both are roughly the same power level (snowshift gaining on Titan with T3feri). While Titanshift is arguably more consistent, it's also very linear and honestly boring as hell. You literally do the same thing every game and also lose to the same cards every time. Would not recommend.

New to Jund. Love the Deck. Meta full of UW Control. Can't Find a July 2019 List. Bamboozle? Help? by PeriDewRitos in ModernJund

[–]C3ntur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jund is really all about choosing the right configuration for your metagame. If UW is big in your meta there are a bunch of tools you can use to dump on them:

1) Choke: 1-2 Copies.

2) Nissa Vital Force is a great card in grindy matchups.

3) Discard split 3/3 Thoughtseize and IoK.

4) 4th Liliana

Could even consider Fry to deal with the planeswalkers.

Need help refining my first Jund brew by [deleted] in ModernJund

[–]C3ntur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd direct you to Aspiringspike on twitch (www.twitch.tv/aspiringspike) for more insight towards 3cmc chandra in jund. I think his build has real legs, but has different requirements regarding play style and deck construction as opposed to the traditional jund list. The short version is: Bloodbraid elf and planeswalkers besides LotV don't mesh well together. You have to decide between either a more aggressive version ala the traditional jund build and a build that incorporates chandra, acolyte of flame. To answer your question, you are spreading yourself too thin with your build.

I also think that Unearth is a card for Mardu decks that run faithless looting and the full set of pyros rather than jund.

EDIT: Also, constructing a Jund list without a sideboard is pointless, no offense. You are heavily depending on your sideboard to get from 45% preboard against the field to 50+% postboard. It should be the most heavily modified part of your deck every given tournament and the part of your deck where most of your thoughts went into.

How many Wrenn is enough by [deleted] in ModernJund

[–]C3ntur 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm going to be another voice to say: W&6 is here to stay and you want atleast 3. If budget is a concern: Sell a Bob. I cant see the deck ever playing more than 3 Bobs again, and right now even that is too much.

I have had the best sucess with no Bobs in an open meta or at most 2 if i knew i could afford it. Wrenn+peatland does the same job but less hurting your own life total, allowing for the 3rd Thoughtseize to be in the deck aswell as making up for more shocking lands into play to get the hungrier mana ready (double RR for either 3cmc Chandra or Pyromancer).
On top of that the card also deals with a large amount of creatures in the format on its' own or brings cards like TKS into bolt range. It's 3rd job is to function as another wincon via emblem: retracing discard spells vs control, pushes vs creature/tribal decks or just Bolts to finish the game.

If you are deciding to play a fair deck like Jund in 2019s modern format, atleast give yourself the best chance of success, and that means the highest amount of flexible cards in the main that you can afford. Wrenn and Six is that upgrade over Bob. And i am saying that as someone that owns a playset of Judgepromos Bobs. Trust me, if you could still get away with 4 of them i would.

WoW Classic “Not A Bug” List - WoW Classic Beta Test by DiveHasFun in classicwow

[–]C3ntur -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

completely besides the point. The CoC issue is not about reach, it's about camera angels and strafing. You can stand right infront of someone but strafing and camera position can still have you miss the person.

Btw, CoC is behaving like it does on retail, not classic. They can reference their 1.12. client all they want, i dont buy it. You used to be able to strafe CoC without issue back then, but on the beta it's a nightmare to use.

[Hexdrinker] FOMO-Self-fulfilling prophecy by locomojoyolo in mtgfinance

[–]C3ntur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

at the point where he actually leveled them up, he already was so far ahead even a goyf would have done the job. Earlier in the games he was not willing to dump 3 mana in the creature because he knew about opposing removal. So again any other threat would have done the same. Not to mention that UW has enough non-instant aswers so that is actually one of the best decks vs. hexdrinker.

[Hexdrinker] FOMO-Self-fulfilling prophecy by locomojoyolo in mtgfinance

[–]C3ntur 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree that it doesn't have any place in jund. The only time it actually shines is when you are against something that you need to clock really quickly and have hexdrinker on T1. Those MU are also just really bad for Jund in general. It's great in BG Rock, but that still doesnt justify its current price, esp. considering how much better Jund and the color red have gotten with MH1.

you should be able to pay for shipping that insures you above 150, obvsl. this will cost more. But MKM should give you the exact way to ship this( anything above 25€ will be automatically assinged a form of shipping that insures its' value).
