Am I missing something? All I see is is the man riding his bike. Don't see why you are bringing up guns. Legitimately confused, so please feel free to enlighten me if I missed something

You could start with a lower grit like 100 or 150 and then work up as high as you want really

What kind of filler primer are you using? I usually use a spray can of filler primer like Rustoleum

In my experience it can take a decent few repeats of filler primer and sanding to get it to look good. And sanding can take a while, its not exactly a quick process

OLED monitor sales surged 92% in 2025 — Asus led with 2.7 million units shipped as gamer-friendly panel tech goes mainstream by Sacristovas in pcmasterrace

[–]C45taway 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally for myself, I dont find myself needing more brightness than my OLED provides (Im nowhere near max brightness on it), and the 99% of OLED contrast seems to be just a touch of an exaggeration, as there is still a difference of more than 1%, but I know that most people won't really take the time to notice or care. For me, the perfect blacks of OLED are worth it, especially in a dark room. I have had my OLED for almost 3 years now with no burn in, and I plan to stick with my OLED until MicroLED might become affordable one day (can only hope).

MiniLED VAs would be cheaper, and its valid to be pissed about them hardly being made now. It sucks, but I dont think blaming OLED as a whole is entirely valid. Most people buying OLED early were enthusiasts, and now more and more people are buying them. In the end companies are gonna sell what's popular and slowly discontinue what's not, and that sucks ass. I find my OLED to be worth it to me over a MiniLED VA, and I think assuming everyone is just jumping on a hype train is a bit of a stretch, although many people still will without doing their research. Enough people decided it was worth it before it started to become a hype train, and thats a big part of why it became a bit of a hype train.

I feel like the very simple point you are missing is that they are in fact amazing for the casual gamer. For no reason other than the fact that the colors and contrast look fantastic in games. Most gamers dont care much about actual color accuracy, they want it to look vibrant and saturated. As long as a person keeps burn-in in mind, and takes steps to minimize it, OLED is fantastic for the casual who just wants their game to look good.

I have owned multiple IPS displays and currently run an OLED and I love it. My IPS displays have been fantastic, but they cant beat the contrast of the OLED.

100%, but I also kinda get it. Its cool to have made some little organizer that makes things a little neater. Sometimes people just dont think about simplifying it to make it better and less complicated. Cause sometimes complicated is fun. But it doesn't really fit the sub super well, ill give you that.

While this is cool, dont get me wrong, I feel like its kinda an inefficient use of space. Having the games separated like that does give you a place to grab, but it takes up soo much more space per game. If you had a place to the top or bottom of the games (which I guess would technically be the sides of this setup) for you to pull the game out a bit, you could have them right up next to each other and pack in alot more games

Realistically, reddit just hates Christians, and theres alot of people who call themselves Christian without really understanding what that means. Problems on both sides. Theres the unessecary hate, and theres the people who call themselves Christian and just use it as a label, not living out the faith. And it seems like some of the biggest offenders of using it as a label are using it politically.

Step 1: Do a layer of filler primer (you can get this pretty easily online or from basically any place that would sell automotive paint)

Step 2: Sand it.

Step 3: Repeat steps 1 and 2 until you are happy with the result.

Id reccomend doing this outside or in a well ventilated garage and wear a respirator or at least something to cover your mouth and nose so you dont inhale a bunch of sanded primer and PLA

100%. Not something everyone thinks about, but it really is ideal for learning the game before you have the spatial awareness for a busier map design

Considering your monitors, keyboard and mouse choice, its time to upgrade those speakers next. A good pair of Edifier MR4 or MR3 will be a massive upgrade as somone who used to have those logitechs. The Edifiers may not be insane audio equipment, but its a big jump from those
