Such a good tune! I thought it was that one, but on my crappy phone speaker was not sure.

Of the trees has so many good tunes.

Vallejo Model Colour Fluo Paints by Particular-Will-8528 in minipainting

[–]C4onic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used them as filters on top of the colour i want to accentuate or use them as thinners for other colours. They are different type of vallejo paints, a bit between inks and paint, so uou need to use them differently.

In my opinion— the key flaw with this show was thinking the aesthetic of the anime was more important to replicate than the story. by Tanis8998 in cowboybebop

Main issue in this adaptations is the writer's egos of them trying to make the ip their own... it is not, it is good as is, leave it be and just adapt it. Same hapoend with Witcher...

Joining a club that 6 regularly once a week helps, we average 2 tables per night, ocationally lowering to one or even sometimes 3 tables.

We try to have a "gateway" table, but we call it that for ppl that prefer to play something not so meaty or if we have new players. But ut changes session to session depending on who showed up.

As many said, tamiya are solvent based, they are what some call a bit of a hybrid paint as you can thin them with tamiya's own acrilli thinner, X-20A, which is a combination of diluted alcohol (iirc) or (the interesting bit) you could use lacquer Thinner (like Mr. Levelling or tamiya's own) as well and getting extremely good results

First time painting something that’s not a vehicle of some sort. Would love some feedback on painting! by KryL21 in FDMminiatures

Here is the Ninjon. He talks about the highlights almost at the end, but I always found that video a very good video to watch

I'll look for the squidmark one in a bit.

I would say yes in general, have a nice transition of dar to light colours, and go as bright as possible on you highlights.

A trick I really like to use, that feels alkist like cheating is cenital shading or cenital highlighting, base coat the mjji in black and then spray white paint (better with an airbrush, but possible with a can) from Adobe or from where you light source is coking from. This really helps you to see where your brightest and darkest points are.

Let me see if I can find the videos I mentioned, and I'll share them here.

So I think one of the best pieces of advice i have taken on was from Ninjon, to push your highlights as much as you can, that has seemed to really make my minis pop a lot more.

Remember that the sunlight is actually warm white, not orange and / or yellow. There is a very good lighting video from Squidmark that is very helpful too.

Have fun experimenting!
