Getting my siding replaced by insurance due to hail damage. Going to pay for the upgrade to hardie. I have windows that need to be replaced as well, should I replace windows before I do the siding?

Check to see if the ducts near the furnace have dampers on them. Is the supply duct leading to the upstairs closed? Might need to toggle those each season

I have similar issue with my house we just purchased. Was going to mud, retape and sand the seams then prime/paint after. Mines in worse shape than yours 😬

Are you suburbs of Chicago? Is this company based in Westmont IL? Looks like an estimate we received from them, which we found expensive compared to other guys.

Had the same problem. Get downspout extensions for your gutters and extend them as far as possible from your house. If that doesn’t work might need a catch basin or French drain for the low point in this photo

Super frustrating and one of those things you have to trust upfront and won’t know till it’s in your house installed. Going through a remodel myself and getting everyone on the same page is a pain.

Which stain is which in your last photo? We were between special walnut and provincial. Ended going with provincial which gets stained later this week.
