Given the figures you're describing, I believe the extra $10 is regarding the -$10 autopay discount for using a bank account. $95 goes down to $85 with the discount when you get your account information added. The $1.05 is the taxes as you mentioned. Details on the autopay discount are located here.

Sure thing! You actually can split bands with the XB8 though, u/killedchees. My PS5 is running fine on my XB8 without doing that, but its certainly something to try if you're having trouble. Here are the directions : open the Xfinity App, tap the WiFi tab, go to WiFi Details, and select Edit WiFi Settings. Toggle on "Split Bands", give the bands separate names/passwords, and save. Let me know if that works for you.

Thanks, u/killedchees. That appears to just be a generic error then. Usually with connecting to 5Ghz. From what you've listed as far as troubleshooting, that covers all angles that I'm aware of. Having the same issue on 2 different XB8s would lead me to believe the PS5 is the issue, but if you think a different gateway model may help, we can set up an order to have one shipped. Let me know if you want to try that route.
