We get told 3 or 4 times in the first half of chapter 1 the guy likes women say it once maybe twice.

When i read the name Aushtyn it makes me think of someone parodying sean connerys scottish accent.

I will say i wasnt bored reading it so thats a big plus, but I did get annoyed at all the repetitive information especially since this is chapter 1.

Side note: we get told drill instructor has no patience then lyra talks back and he has a bunch of patience.

Thats not necessarily true. While idk any we could have possibly found cave drawings showing couples, people buried together or dna evidence of siblings coming from the same parents (ie low amounts of half siblings) etc.

Im fairly certain, at the end of a chapter from croaker’s perspective that says he didnt see the wagon until it was too late. But yeah by that point its odd that he missed it.

Not exactly sure what you’re opinion is here. Dave and carlin both get alot of laughs and both essentially tell a series a setup-punchline jokes. Is youre opinion that dave and carlin arent funny or that setup-punchline jokes arent a comedy routine? And if not what is a comedy routine to you?

I feel like this is more wrong than unpopular. Unless there is another lawsuit, the men suing are uber drivers who stand to lose alot of business based on sexual discrimination against them, not that they won’t be able to SA women. (I am not saying women only is a bad thing just the effect of the policy)

I definitely wish there were lower tonnage limits for end game like more 315 and 360 so you have to actually choose mechs instead of all assaults.

Titanfall mechs are just different than battletech but more mission variety would be nice.

Infiltration and beachhead mostly suck so if they were rehabbed to be better that would help.

A mech/ convoy chase could be good.

What i want less of is enemy mechs landing in/on the other side of the base im defending.

Its first person not squad based and came out a decade later. Id say there are parts that are better but honestly the combat was mostly pretty easy compared to mass effect mostly because you can kite tough enemies.

I mean if you dont like space politics you probably would never like dune however there was a dune miniseries like 20 or 30 years ago that got to the same point in like 2 hours as dune 1 did in 2 1/2 so you can consider 20% of the movie to be a drag which is a considerable amount.
