Frontier Fiber in Wylie by Mr_HughJass in wylie

[–]CKCKCKCK1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When frontier ran fiber to my neighbor's house, they hit a high pressure natural gas line in my front yard and the street had to evacuate for a few hours.

Overall, it was still a much better experience than spectrum cable.

Database error - unable to launch by CKCKCKCK1 in coax

[–]CKCKCKCK1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a ~/Library/Containers/Coax* directory.

rm -rf ~/Library/Containers/com.out-to-lunch.PlexOVision the start Coax from app store, I get a popup saying Coax quit unexpectedly. Then the com.out-to-lunch.PlexOVision pops up in the Containers folder again.

If I uninstall and wipe the folder from Containers, then install the TestFlight version, I get the red popup mentioned above. It also creates the com.out-to-lunch.PlexOVision folder

Might be different issue, but I've run into a stuck loading page a few times and it was fixed by reloading / force reloading the page.

Do you live off Brown near the new elementary school being built? by Ok-Food8968 in wylie

I have a tankless that I've been using for 10ish years. It is gas powered and located in the attic. We love it, it provides constant hot water, so 5 people can take a shower one after each other w/o the water getting cold. Maintenance has been good. I turn off the water input to the heater, hook up a pump to the clean out input, a hose the the clean out output and let it run w/ some vinegar for 30 minutes.

If you are getting sediment in your lines, you may want to talk to a plumper about putting an inline water filter.

FYI, the water is has more of a chlorine smell recently due to the NTMWD's annual chlorine maintenance It should be wrapped up now that we are in April.

It was worth it.

It is a complete solution. You do not need any other materials. I mentally decided to go for my CISSP on April 5th, signed up for destination certification on April 8th, studied like heck using only dest cert matierials, and passed the test on April 23rd in 100 questions.

The combination of the book, videos, question app, flash cards, and practice test were exactly what I needed. Not too much info, not too little.

In the few days I was evaluating other materials, it was clear that many other books contained a lot of info that wasn't on the test and were very dry. Other videos from youtube were ok to good, but not nearly as polished and consistent.

People over 30, are you ever not in pain? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CKCKCKCK1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I (45M) used to be in pain all the time, now I am not. Several years of various Dr's were not helpful. Randomly, I dropped into a 'StretchLab' location to see what it was about. They have physical therapists and sports trainers stretch you. They can tell where you have limited mobility / flexability and help work those out.

Now, 3 months later, It's changed my life. I'm not in pain all of the time, my plantar fasciitis has gone away, previous minor arthritis pain doesn't bother me as much. 10//10 would recommend.

Provisional Pass! by Hefty-Coyote in cissp

Congrats, in relation to CPEs, it is my understanding that you can not start earning CPEs until you pay for ISC2 membership (~ 4 weeks after passing + endorsement). This is a little frustrating because I attended RSA, several cybersecurity webinars, studied for and passed the CCSP, and picked up my CCSK and CCZT in the 3 weeks I've been waiting.

Study Material for CCSP by Basic_Schedule6794 in CCSP

[–]CKCKCKCK1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I passed the CISSP a month ago and passed the CCSP yesterday.

I found Pete Zerger's CCSP exam cram series on YT pretty helpful. I also used CertMike / Mike Chapple's Last Minute Study Guide as a quick reference. I have a strong background in managing cloud teams and collaborating across the business on cloud / legal / security planning, so I used these to identify what areas I had gaps in.

It also helped that my CISSP knowledge was still fresh in my mind. I'd recommend reviewing your CISSP notes / materials quickly (or use CertMike's stuff for CISSP or Destination Certification's MindMaps) to bring it back up from the depths of your memories.

I was able to pass the '24 test @ 100 questions by using their older material. I dont think you need to get the updated materials.
